Gasol, who suffered a blow to the face in the fourth quarter of last night’s game, was examined by neurologist Dr. Vern Williams. Tests determined that he has a concussion. He will not travel with the team, and will be out indefinitely.

If you've ever had a concussion, you probably would sympathise with Pau right now. It's not a nice experience at all, I can't imagine you'd want to fly with concussion effects man, the cabin pressure would make you feel a lot worse. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

Also, the NBA concussion policy instated last year explicitly prohibits it until he is cleared by a league-appointed neurologist. But good luck telling that to Voices or anyone else around here who has it out for Pau anyway.
I had a gut feeling he suffered a concussion last night. He looked a little unstable and dazed when they were evaluating him and trying to stop the bleeding in the nose. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
should be fine in time for Fridays game _________________ Kobe "I mean Phil's been here, and -- to be honest with you -- we might have, in all the years I've been with Phil, (had) maybe three defensive drills the entire time"
Rough year for Pau. Knee, shoulder, concussion. Blake has spike strip incident, then ab injury. Dwight...the list goes on. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Shoulder? He also was dealing with bursitis on the elbow and Plantar Fasciitis in right foot too. Very rough year... _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

He looked like he was seeing stars. But his nose didn't get broken with the blood coming out from inside and outside?

Yeah. He definitley looked dazed. I think the blood was mainly from outside. They used a towel to try and stop it. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Really? From what i saw, they stuffed cotton in his nose to stop the bleeding...maybe i saw it wrong, cause i was just shaking my head...but the cut on the top of the nose didnt look all that bad and to cause that much blood flow... _________________ Famous last words of a Nets fan - ***I'm scared about Kobe

Kobe209 you may have been fine after your concussion, many people are, but not every concussion is the same in severity or effects.
I've had 4 in my lifetime, ranging from mild headache that wore off pretty quickly to having to be hospitalised for 3 days because I couldn't even stand up and having that linger on for weeks. Pau tool quite a hit, wouldn't surprise me at if he's feeling pretty rough today, it's not something to "man up" about, it can be a serious problem. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.
