Really impressed with Bernie.

Less is More. That was his motto through this time.

It could have turned out for the worst. He could have tried to prove something, taken offense to the MB situation, been defensive or even take an opportunity to revive his career.

Instead he put the team first, stepped aside and made his biggest accomplishment not the wins but getting everyone's minds right. Even if all he did was provide the environment for players to refocus and reenergize; that's huge.

And his postgame interviews were great. Calling it like it was, not pointing fingers, NOT AVOIDING questions in that ugly loss.

Lastly, the teams mindset in receiving D'antoni seems great. Seems our guys were all wide eyed like little kids instead of a ticking time bomb ready to explode.

Thanks Bernie, you showed a ton of class and poise; Definitely grateful for your presence during such a tough transition.

*most underrated acquisition of the offseason*

I wonder if he's staying as assistant to D'Antoni. Hope he does. Class act.

I hope we keep him and he gets a head coaching job somewhere next year, or in a few years if he likes it here.

Bernie was a welcome breath of fresh air following the Potato Head Era.

Props to him, he got the team up and rolling after they were taking on water and sinking fast.

It's safe to say his legacy is secure here. The Bickerstaff Era... Such a heady and exciting time!

Blew out three mediocre teams and almost beat a championship contender. Well done Bernie.

Highest winning % of all time.

Quick question. Are interim coaches counted towards the 24 coaches they had in Laker history?

He's done a great job minus that 4th qtr against the Spurs. Sat out Kobe a tad bit too long in the beginning of that qtr.
