Weird pop-up ad on bottom of the screen

Using LG on my iPad, I keep getting this really obnoxious pop-up ad on the bottom of the screen that covers part of the page. Is this a new feature or a temporary quirk? It's really bothersome.

(It says "Turn wherever you are into North Lake Tahoe. Tap to expand")

I started getting a pop-up lately on my iphone as well.

That blue North Lake Tahoe add that pops up every time I click on anything (including to type this message) is making Lakersground too unpleasant to view on my iPad or iPhone.

Please fix/remove it. It popped up several times just whe typing this.

I found the North Lake Tahoe ad. Give it a couple hours and it should be off there.

I am getting a few ads on the bottom of the page using my iPad as well.

I hate to bother you, DB, but it's still happening tonight. It's a different ad, but same result. An ad beginning with the word "Grid2," whatever that means.

Speaking of pop up ads, as I perused the Off Topic forum, a pop up appeared telling me I was going to be taken to another site to take a survey once I left LG (implied), and that I shouldn't close the pop up. As an experienced Internet user, I did what anyone else would do, I closed the pop up window. There was no name on the pop up, just the text telling me about the survey.

P.S. The pop up appeared when I went into the college dorms thread, but has not appeared the last few times I jumped in there. The pop up occurred just about a minute before I posted the above message.

DB there is a Walmart ad on an ipad that keeps popping up with every keystroke. It even moves up to mid screen when the keyboard is active, covering up the message area. I have not seen this type of ad before.. Thanks

I keep getting pop ups too. Using firefox on PC. I saw 2 different messages on those pop ups. The first one told me that an update to flash was ready to install. The second one that I just saw today, tells me that I won a prize or something.

Obviously I never clicked on the "ok" button to see what happens cause it's most likely a virus.

But these aren't "regular window" pop ups, they look like they are embed in the forum system, like those pop up boxes that shows up when we get private messages.
