Just spoke to him. He's not even down about the injury. He's just focused on getting back before the postseason. He will get the surgery.

Don't think he'll have to worry about being back for the post season, we'll be done in about a month, if not sooner.

Good to hear he's doing well.

Good to hear did he get an estimate on recovery time, or will he find that out tomorrow?

He said it will be less than 6-8weeks. But he'll definitely know by tomorrow.

I honestly don't think there's anything that can get Metta down, that's one thing I've always like about him

Well, if we make it to the second round we'll still be able to see him in action this season.

I wonder if he'll have to come back as a small 4

That is great news. Of course as a fan I'd like to see him return as soon as possible but the most important thing is that he returns to good health first!

I hope he still is around the team, he's a good influence on the guys. He's mentioned he's taken strides to becoming a better leader, and he's taken dwight under his wing.

I wish him a speedy recovery. With only 11 games remaining if he has surgery I believe his season's ended.

I'm a Metta World Peace fan. I hope there's a way for him to end his career in Los Angeles.

Good to hear. But how does he think he'll be back before the postseason? I read that it's a 6-8 week recovery period and we're only 3 weeks away from the playoffs. Was he given a different time frame for his return?

Wish, MWP the best in his recovery. Thanks for the update. I just hope that during this time that he's looking from the sideline to see where he will be of greater impact on the team.

Farmar had a similar injury and was back on the court at full speed in 4 weeks in 2008-09 but he was still a kid and less weight on his legs than MWP.

Glad he's not bummed about the injury but focused on returning back. Hopefully we'll still be in it once he returns. We are definitely going to miss his defense and activity the most.
