•Steve Nash left Saturday's game with a right hip spasm and a right hamstring strain.
He did not play Tuesday and is targeting a return Friday against the Grizzlies.
•Metta World Peace has a cartilage tear in the lateral meniscus of his left knee.
He underwent surgery on March 28th and is projected to miss at least six weeks.
•Jordan Hill will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn

•In the final game of a three-game road trip, we were trailed by as many as 15 points in the
first half despite scoring the game’s first six points, and after Dwight Howard left the game
with a shoulder injury late in the second quarter, the Grizzlies would extend their lead to as
many as 21 in the second half in a 106-93 Memphis victory at FedExForum. Memphis
out-rebounded the Lakers 52-34 and outscored us 60-34 in the paint and 27-3 off
second-chance points. Kobe Bryant finished with a game-high 29 points, while Metta World
Peace (15 points), Pau Gasol (13 points) and Earl Clark (11 points) rounded out the Lakers
players in double-figures.
•The Lakers currently trial their season series with Memphis 0-2, after taking last season’s
series from the Grizzlies 2-1. In their last 10 meetings with Memphis, the Lakers are 5-5
overall.

Tough tough game. Tony Allen and Tayshaun will take turns on defending Mamba. Dwight and Pau vs Z-Bo and Marc! The player we should try to lock down here is Mike Conley.

If there were ever a game for Kobe to get the rest of his teammates involved, I think this is it. He will have a tough time against Tony Allen and Tayshaun Prince. It would make sense to get the team involved and get them feeling good.

Right or wrong, when a player is involved on the offensive end it usually equals them being revved up defensively. We are going to need that intensity.
