Crazy to think he didnt even avrg ONE whole assist a game this past year at UCLA

Black hole.

I think the homeless man's Carmelo comparison is spot on. He has a similar mindset, but only a tiny fraction of the talent and skillset. The two things I will give him credit for are that he does have a pretty good motor and isn't afraid of taking the last shot.

Yeah. With hard work though, I think he can be a really good 6th man type for a contender.

Just finished looking at the statistical breakdown for SF's and Muhammad just looks even worse to me after that. I still think he's got good potential at putting up points, especially if he goes to Minny and gets the benefit of playing with the most unselfish player in the league, but I'm not convinced he's much more than that. Just look at all the stats that make him look bad and all the stats that make him look good, it screams that all he cares about is points.

High scorer in college.

Idk. I do know his make-up tho. He's a winner.he has it in him that he needs to make a serious contribution.
I think he could turn into a luol deng or he could end up as offensively talented as Paul George. No doubt

You sure you didn't mean whiner?

Cause that's all I saw when he played for UCLA.

He will have to focus on more than just scoring if he wants to be (REMOVE: great) (EMPHASIZE): in the NBA

I watched him repeatedly unsuccessfully attempt to dunk over collegians. When he was in high school that probably worked over 6 ft 160 lb guys but in the pros he'll be average joe who misses a dunk.

I see him being like Ed Obannon, a formerly talented player who wasn't skilled enough at any one thing to make it in the NBA. Maybe like Ed's brother Charles who was 6' 6" and could jump, but didn't have suitable handles or a consistent shot to make it with his slight frame in the NBA.

Shabazz has an inconsistent outside shot, doesn't appear to be the 6' 6" that they say he is, and he's not a great ball handler, shot creator, and lacks foot speed. Even if he fell to the Lakers in the 2nd rd, I couldn't/wouldn't get excited about him. Someone will be drafting a guy incapable of contributing much.

Another guy drafted high (#8?) but couldn't get past his 1st contract because his HS & college skills didn't equate to NBA ability: Bo Kimble.

Shabazz' average of less than 1 assist per game although touching the ball often at UCLA reminds me of former New Jersey Net center Yinka Dare who seemingly took years before he got his 1st assist.

He is the perfect player for minnesota.

Super selfless rubio will love to pass him the ball.

I don't see him fitting in any other team. Good pick up by the wolves.
