What could have been, we geared up pretty good with Howard and the other acquisitions but for some reason the Lakers are not gonna make the playoffs, disappointing.

My God, will you guys S.TFU FOR ONCE about CP3 being ours, after every time we lose to them?? It's so predictable and just down-right pathetic...

And by the way, it was a genius move by the league, as Gasol and Odom aren't worth CP3 on any planet. An infant could figure that out.

Look around check the board ive been a member for a long time and lurked around before that the last time it has looked this bad was 04-05 first post shaq year but at least we had a young prime kobe bryant. Whining is one thing but the league and the owners stole the future and its ok to to cry over that.

It just shows that they have multiple waves of attack and lakers just can't sustain it enough to stay in it nor are they being led by a disciplined coach on either ends of the floor. They simply are deeper, younger and quicker.

Yeah, losing in the NBA Finals was much worse.

This? It's the regular season, with the Lakers in a transition period and the Clippers for once in their life putting a respectable roster on the court. No NBA title was on the line, and in the end both teams will end up in exactly the same place; Out of the playoffs before the 2nd round.

It's the Clippers.....tip your hat to them for one of a handful of "good" years.

That team IS NOT beating SAS,OKC,NYK or MIA in the playoffs... and next year they likely will lose a couple bench players if not CP3.

Everything balances in nature and the Clippers true nature is bottom dwellers...

Increase your zen.

And some people wanted them in the first round.

Congratulations to the Clippers. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, or in the case of the Clippers, they got it right four times this season... in 1 season out of 34 since coming to CA? Good job, good effort.

Nah. I'd much rather suffer a Finals defeat than this. This is too much. Playoff hopes in jeopardy. Being swept by the most made-fun-of franchise in NBA history. Watching a would-be-Laker in CP3 dismantle our defense. Having 6-current/former all-stars stumble to the finish line in a game like this...

this is worse.

It wasn't 4 blowouts. Stop being overdramatic. Those are the worst types of fans.

Now that they are good, maybe another city will actually want them, and they can leave.

Even as a person who grew up in LA, I don't understand how Clipper fans exist.

Lets use a 6-7 man rotation against the wave of players (though we have injury issues). At a certain point you need to just trot out younger bodies. Please no more MDA.

What worries me is that this core of clipper players could get better, cant say the same about the lakers.

So the ramifications are not one of a flash in the pan, it could really be the shifting of the guard in the near term, as i dont see the lakers bouncing back for a few years atleast. Unless something magical happens in 2014.
