You guys understimate Spurs.. We don't match up well vs them, Pop had mercy on us last 2 games. This time around they're playing for the #1 seed, they'll tear us apart lol. |
By 32 really? I can accept a loss but not by 32. |

ACtually i just found out Glock might return against the spurs. He's gonna tear it up in Dantoni's system. Maybe we won't lose so badly now rofl. |

WOW!? What a different picture from the expectations set in the beginning of the season ... Hoping Nash can gut it out and play at less than 100%, because our best guard, Steve Blake, will need some rest.
Kobe will be back, I am sure of it. Wouldn't shock me if he doesn't miss a beat, it would be typical Kobe (99% of the world population couldn't do what Kobe is about to do). I'm hoping for the ultimate comeback, MVP, AllStar MVP, and finals MVP + ring #6.
Just hope the team takes a page from the MAMBA and run the Spurs out of the Gym. Play strong inside, and limit turn overs!!!
During the Dr. Buss tribute, it was really touching to see, that out of Respect and Honor for the late, great Dr. Buss they left his seat empty for the ceremony and subsequent games. I thing MDA should Respect and Honor the great Dr. Buss, and leave his own chair empty for the duration of his contract. |

Pau and D12 can score
Nash, if he plays can score
Jameson can score 10+ points
Clark can score 10+ points
Meeks can score 10+ points
Blake can score 10+ points
Problem is defense that needs to play a much BIGGER role.
Manu is not playing tomorrow.
Spurs doesn't have many athletes - especially since they waived Steven Jackson - hence match well with the Lakers and vice versa. How the bench responds to this challenge will be a major factor.
Ebanks has a respiratory infection (too much partying since he has not been playing resulting in not being ready when an opportunity represents itself) and probably will not play despite being the logical choice to get some major minutes. hopefully he will mature and get rid the the Bynum attitude. |

We got this. Dwight and Pau have been beasting lately and we'll feed off that, they just get more shots now, could be a good thing for the future (Dwight not leaving LA, I mean).
We still have a closer/a guy that can create his own shot in Steve Nash, Nash can still put up 20 points and 10 assists on his best nights, now he's the sole playmaker and he can do his thing with the bigs.
The remainder of this season and possibly playoffs come down to Steve Nash, we need his playmaking and closing, hopefully he's good to go tonight. _________________

I don't mind Dwight & Pau getting twice as many touches or what ever, but hopefully they will have a better handle of the ball when they take it to the hoop!!! Dwight's needs to continue that face up move cause he losses to many balls when he holds the ball at his waist.
Pau, he needs to do the backing into & forcing, not the defensive player push him out of position, keep the ball high & continue to look for Dwight on ally oops...
Both will have Meeks, Blake or Clark to pass out to so we shall see the numbers from the 2 bigs in which one, two or neither will be back next year??? I don't want to see Pau playing center for us next year!!! _________________ My Laker squad.

mychal Thompson says that pau should have at least 15 shots per game, which he should get now.
with pau on the strong side and D12 on the low post on the weakside making it hard for teams to double him, Pau should get 5-8 assists just passing/lobbing to D12.
which sub will take the challenge to defend the perimeter with Clark and World Peace? will it be Ebanks or Morris? |

Spur's fan here.
The Laker's can win this game.
Spur's are down several players - Manu, Diaw - and just released Jackson because the was causing locker room problems.
#1 seed is out of reach - OKC owns tiebreaker.
Parker's second game back from injury.
Bench play has shifted from major positive to major negative.
Spur's will not make it out of the second round of playoffs and could lose in first. |

Tonight we're playing against San Antonio at home. We have to leave it all out on the floor on these last 2 regular season games! #GoLakers |

All i know is Morris and Duhon need to be back in this rotation, if for nothing else but to give some players rest. We can win this game, thats what i now. Wounded teams are the dangerous teams. Any opponent over looking the Lakers because they don't have Kobe is asking for it. _________________ New Beginings |

Watching a little bit of the Bulls vs Heat and Boozer was able to establish position using a lot of force and boding up on Bosh. I was thinking if Dwight did even half of that he would been called for an offensive foul. I just think its a doubled standard.
The past couple games Gasol has looked so much better. There have been a few times he gets fouled and they never call it. When he gets great position and he pump fakes the Defender rides him and gets a little under him and Gasol misses the shot and it should of been a foul called.
I am not trying to be a Lakers homer I honestly feel we get punished for being taller and stronger then anybody else. Maybe I am completely wrong and I do agree we have calls go our way as well but I wish they would let them play and try not to take our best asset away with calling cheap calls against our size.
Go Lakers. |

The Lakers are going to show what they're made of. They'll play harder tonight to prove they can WWK (win without Kobe) I expect to make the playoffs. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
