Toss up between Sarah and Allison for me. Allison looks like a young Leah Rimini to me. Cosima's nerd-hot with her braids, big glasses and quirky style of dress.

Just reinforces how great Tatiana is. I watched the aftershow following the 1st season and it was so strange seeing the main actors sitting with each other. Felt like I was watching an episode of sister wives. |

Finally caught the season 2 opener. I have no idea what's going on because I didn't really remember what happened in the first season.
But I also forgot how good of an actor she is. Wow.

After meeting her surrogate birth mother, Sarah introduces her to Helena. Later on, Helena disguised as Sarah kills her. Sarah tracks Helena down and shoots her.
DYAD Corp. tries to get all the clones to sign an agreement that guarantees protection and non-interference in exchange for being able to run regular tests on each of them. Allison is quick to sign hers but Sarah and Cosima refuse.
Dauphine gets Cosima to start trusting her again and Cosima reveals she has the same disease that afflicted the German clone. Together, they examine Cosima's DNA and discover a strange genetic marker which they decode. It reveals that each of the clones is actually intellectual property of DYAD Corp. and these protection and non-interference deals are worthless.
After shooting Helena, Sarah went to meet with her corporate clone Rachel to work out a deal for guaranteed protection for her and her daughter. Before she could meet her, Cosima called and told Sarah they were lying about the deals. Sarah fled and returned to Mrs. S's house only to find it ransacked and her daughter missing.
That's where S1 ended.

Mrs S is a badass!
So glad they didn't kill off Helena since this season is going to heavily involve the Proletheans. I can see why Helena is a favorite clone among fans. The last four episodes of season 1 where we get to see her as more than just a psychotic killer really made me embrace her character.
Jordan Gavaris really deserves some props. That guy's an absolute scene stealer.

IIRC, Helena told Sarah she was pure (a virgin) so this guy forcing himself on her is not going to end well for him.

I like Allison. She's got that soccer mom, MILF vibe going that I can't resist. She's clearly comic relief though.
Sarah is supposed to be the main character...but she's also the one who is the hardest to classify. I guess that jives well with her "con-artist" character. She's a social chameleon and can assume the roles of all her clone sisters.
I just got up caught up with the show. Really excited. I think this is right now the best sci-fi show on TV.
I also like Continuum...another Canadian show. Man, Canada is cleaning up in good Sci-fi TV right now. |

I don't think he raped her...he artificially inseminated her by stealing her eggs. Clearly, her and Sarah being twins played some role in them being able to reproduce.
I also think that the reason many of the clones (Katya, Jennifer, and Cosima) got sick is because they were experimented on to get them to be fertile. But whatever treatment they were given caused them to develop cancer instead. |

Sounds reasonable. I thought either Cosima or Delphine said something about the disease originating in the clones' uterus.
When we first met the Prolethean leader, he was doing something with some kind of probe he shoved into a cow. I'll have to watch the last episode again, but I believe when Helena was escaping that same kind of probe was in the operating room.

Oh wow, didn't even catch that.
Kind of messed up how Sarah just took off and left Helena in jail.
Really enjoyed the scenes with Felix and Arthur. What I love about this show, aside from Tatiana Maslany's amazing ability to make you forget she's playing all these characters, is the strong supporting cast.

I agree. I love the cast.
About Tatiana Maslany's acting though: the only character where I can sort of tell she's just acting is Rachel Duncan. I think it's more due to her being somewhat of a poorly written character though.
But the others, especially Helena. Wow!

I agree about Rachel. She seems almost like a caricature of the evil, corporate b---h. Perhaps they'll develop her more as this whole story of her father unravels. When I first started watching the show, I didn't think much of Helena but as Season 1 got into the second half and they revealed other aspects to her character beyond cold-blooded killer, she became the most interesting.
