Depends how you define a franchise player. To me, they're both franchise players in that they can be the best player on a team, sell tickets, make all-star teams, get commercials, and all that good stuff. Now, are they franchise players who can lead a team to a championship? Well, no, I don't think they can do that. But I understand the Clipper fans here. For one thing, it's natural to feel loyalty and appreciation for your homegrown superstar. Many fans here would go berserk if anyone suggested trading Kobe, even if it arguably benefited the team. And there's plenty to like about Blake vs. Dwight. He's younger, gives more consistent effort, is more exciting to watch, works on his game including free throws, and makes much better commercials. |

Maybe they should ask, would you trade B&B for Howard if it keeps CP3 on the Clipps. |
Judging from the responses, several of them might say no. They seem to like Griffin more than Paul. It's interesting.
Also, I seriously doubt that Paul would leave them. |

I think there is a greater chance of Paul leaving the Clippers than Dwight leaving the Lakers. _________________ Jeffs

Lol at some of those Clipper fans saying they value Griffin over CP3, they truly only care about dunks and fun over winning. |

True but personally, I still think the results are interesting. When a poll is started on this site, the only time I see results that lopsided is when the poll asks a dumb question with an incredibly obvious answer.
The poll has 31 votes now. 30 voted no on the trade and still only 1 person voted yes. |

I love the guy who'd rather let CP3 walk than trade Griffin and Bledsoe for Dwight. Remember what happened last time BG was your best player? 32-50. That is all. |

Obviously they wouldn't trade bg and bled for Dwight. But the question is whether they'd trade both of those guys for Dwight and cp3. |

Mr. Clock Reseter.
Every time D12 blocks a shot, the other team get 14 seconds to try it all again. |

God, it would be so sweet to watch the Dwight Howard experience unfold in a Clippers uniform. Watching him smile like a dork as he clanks free throws and wilts under Chris Paul's relentless scolding. |
