u dont think chris copeland is nice? brings some agility and athleticism to the table...had a nice rookie season which i could easily see him buildin on

he actually ended the season with back-to-back 30 point games....son can score and create his own shot. it's what we need.

i wish people would stop saying athleticism. he's not that athletic. well i dont know what he CAN do. i'm talking about what he does do. he doesnt play like a seriously athletic player. he's just very agile for his size. agility. LO may have more athleticism then copeland. if you dont believe me. check out his highlights. notice when he slashes to the basket or gets drop passes by the rim or even makes his move to the basket and has room. he very rarely dunks. he lays it in. that tells me he doesnt have that explosiveness. now i'm not saying he cant catch someone slipping and dunk on them. bogut cant jump at all but he sure did dunk on javale mcgee.

copeland has a kyle korver quick release for a tall guy. most tall guys have a slower release. copeland's is quick. so no one is going to stop him from getting his shot off from distance. and because he can shoot so quick. if you're not close enough he will dot your eye. and if you're too close he can blow by you with lateral movement. not just straight line dribbles. you can tell the guy is a scorer.

he'll also put his back to the basket to make a move. the guy has it all, mid range as well.

He is a poor man's carmelo with worse D. Mike D'Antoni has wanted him for about 3-4 years. Finally got him last year, but he then got fired.

He will give us legit outside shooting, but will make our perimeter defense even worse.

He is not worse than jamison, but not better either. I like copeland a lot, but not for the full MMLE, and not if we don't also get a wing that can actually defend, like wright or even delfino.

Clark is a PF, copeland a SF. Clark is a defender who's developing a J, Copeland only offense. I really hope he is not insurance.

I think so too, but remember:
1. He was D'antoni's guy. Since they no longer have him as coach, they might no longer want him.
2. We all thought Meeks would be matched last year too, but then philly suddenly decided to rescind the qualifying offer.

as long as we don't use the full 3.1mm on this I'm okay with it. i'd say he's worth about what we're paying jodie.

Copeland is a PF. He's far better at that position than at SF. At least at PF he can cut off the P and R on the hedge and he's only a slightly below average rebounder.

Looks like L.O. without the handles (or defense) and a better 3-point shooter. I say go for it.

Looks that way. According to 82games, playing PF 10% of Knicks' minutes, he was 21.4 - 16.3 > 5.1 (PER) vs. playing SF 11% of Knicks' minutes, he was 11.6 - 17.2 > -5.7.

He11, he might be a better PF than Pau. Pau/Copeland might do as well as did Howard/Pau last year, though that is not setting the bar very high.

They played small ball. He is forward similar to how carmelo is forward. Basically SF but plays PF in small ball.

Been mentioning his name over and over and again....I really hope we sign him, really a sleeper waiting to happen, late bloomer, but ready to shine right now. 9PPG in 15 minutes, plays solid defense, high ebery, what's not to like. A steal at this point, but the word is out, and I think the price is going to be going up, up and away for us..

Delfino and Blatche along with him would be frosting galore...

He had a jump shot eFG% of .496 compared to Pau's .399

How does 4 years 14.5M-ish and the key to Hef's back door sound?

I see that it can only be 3 years for a TMLE, which would be 3 for $10M-ish .

Copeland & Delfino with a re-signed Dwight. I give Laker front office an A+++
