ESPN sources say that Omri Casspi, in a surprise, has just cleared waivers and is a free agent |
Wow. |
It's no real surprise.....Casspi sucks. lol
Dude got worse since rookie season..... |
Does he?
McHale was playing him at the 4 a lot this year.
Limited time at the 3, he played pretty good defense, which is what I want from our small forward. |

Agree.
Unless they think Clarkson can handle a backup role?
Or they think Henry can run the point? Yuck.
Did we not learn that he can't as we saw last year?
Or maybe they think Beaubois has a shot? |

I think they're going to give Nash a chance and see what he's capable of doing. If it doesn't look like he can play then we'll sign a FA. |

Not a good idea particularly if the FA doesn't get a training camp/preseason either. God forbid Nash goes down then you have Lin and a rookie at the PG position. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

he seems to be a tweener athletically now. i think he might be too slow to guard SFs effectively. most SFs are like guards these days |

Even if Nash is healthy, I'd prefer Beaubois over steve and clarkson. The west is filled with deadly PG's. Beaubois's mixture of wingspan, experience, and athleticism could be helpful defensively at the 1. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I think will see a lot of Lin and Clarkson on the court together, both are combo guards but Clarkson is 6'5 and can defend better. |

Is there a way we can acquire Dalembert by giving Sacre/2nd round pick? |

I'd like for us to send an offer to Casspi. We could use some size at the SF spot. |

With the Wolves' luck, Hardaway Jr. turns out to be the next big thing and trumps whatever they get in another deal when it's all said and done. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts! |

Looks like the roster is set at 13 until training camp. I expect they will sign Clarkson at some point.
1. Kobe Bryant
2. Steve Nash
3. Jordan Hill
4. Jeremy Lin
5. Nick Young
6. Carlos Boozer
7. Julius Randle
8. Ryan Kelly
9. Ed Davis
10. Xavier Henry
11. Robert Sacre
12. Wesley Johnson
13. Jordan Clarkson _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Would love to add Marion to that group. If he doesn't receive any significant offers, I wonder if he'd consider joining the Lakers on a small deal. A solid 3 could really push us into playoff contention, we are really lacking at that position as things stands. |

What would you say if Wesley actually plays SF this year exclusively and he plays great defense and hits 38% from 3? |
