Thanks MWP.

I was clearly an Ariza fan and ideally we would have had both of you guys. But you grew on me and as Mitch said, it's hard not to like MWP.

Thanks for June 2010. Will always value that.

And I'm sure there is an argument that can be made that someone like Blake deserved the amnesty more than you. Alas, it is what it is. You leave the Lakers, a champion. Thanks.

LA loves you Ron-Ron! Bless you and your family. Hope you continue to keep that humor of yours!

This Yahoo article talks about the history of Ron's signing with the Lakers up until now with alot of details. Pretty good stuff.

If his contribution was just one game (game 7) that would have been more than enough. I'm gonna miss him.

I always wanted prime Ron on the lakers to be Kobe's right-hand man in the mid 2000s. The lakers got an older version but it still paid off to have him.

I never questioned his hussle or intentions for one minute..He was a good teammate and a good Laker to the end.

I wish him the best and I hope he does a full day with max and Marcellus soon. Four hours of metta with those two is as good as radio gets.

Maybe ill play for the Dodgers. But Magic has to give me his ownership or it is deal breaker. I will give him until the morning.

What a Laker is all about. May not be on fire from the field. May make a few players look funny. But always plays on the floor with heart, with utmost unselfishness to whatever the team needs to win.

Loved your passion and desire Metta. You always gave 100% and the true fans appreciated that. No one can EVER question your heart and I am glad you played for us. God speed and you will end up fine in the end. I hope you get a chance to read these posts and know what folks thought of you!
Be like your brother and post here sometimes, would be a blast!

Without Metta, we lose game 7 to Boston at home. Would have been horrifying. All of his pay for that one game is worth it.

Yes sir. Had we got him when we first had the chance (05-06?), we may have taken down Phoenix.

Thanks Ron, we won a championship because of you. That makes you a champion for life. So join the Knicks or Nets, stay away from the Celtics and the Heat!

Thanks MWP aka Ron Artest aka Tru Warrior aka whatever moniker you want to give your self!

You bleed P&G and you enjoyed being a Laker and you gave it your all and that is all we could ask for!

I dig RonRon too!! Never did like his detractors opinions around here. He has been a great Laker and I am sad to see him go.

But as in all things, the past is the past and now it's time to move forward.

FWIW, I still miss West, Magic and Kareem.

You can't go home again!
