Wouldn't even be surprised if the Clippers show interest in him. Can you imagine the Lou-Crawford-Young trio? 60 shots, but only 1 ball to go around. That's a heck of a dilemma for them right now.

I mean isn't that what we had last season with Lou, Nick, and JC playing major minutes? lol

Not sure what the purpose is, of ragging on Nick Young? While he wore the purple and gold, he played his butt off.

He's a shooter, and when Luke became coach, Nick flourished. When asked to improve his defense intensity, under former coach Byron, Nick did as he was asked. He showed it during Luke's stint, and was repeatedly praised for playing both halves of the floor.

He wasn't a negative locker room presence, and he acquitted himself well on the court, as a teammate. For that, I thank Swaggy for his time as a Laker, and wish him the best going forward...unless he playes us.

It's sad, but sometimes fans can be unjustified, ungrateful little snots.

Nick Young will be a valuable asset to a contending team
that needs instant offense.

He was the scrapegoat for a lot of things that went wrong with
the Lakers. But it was not his fault.

Swaggy scored and played decent defense. His salary was very reasonable considering his starters production.

If he returns to the Lakers, he will plug a big hole which is needed outside shooting and defense. A SG starter at a great value for
his salary.

QUERY: If by chance Nick re-signs with the Lakers do you think he'll get his 0 back?

I couldn't stand Nick and wanted him gone, but I thought he was decent last year (maybe my expectations for him were that low). Given the "high character" mantra we've been hearing all off-season, not surprising he is not back. We will actually miss his shooting, though.

Well said, and I agree 100%. I frankly hope we can retain Nick, as his spot-up shooting will increase Lonzo's effectiveness.

Sounds like the cavs need to give him a ring.

Wouldn't surprise me if they did. They need perimeter shooters.

Oh man! I don't even wanna imagine Swaggy and JR Smith on the court at the same time.

Probably end up a clipper if jj Reddick leaves. He would go well with Jamal Crawford and Lou Williams.

He played well enough under D'Antoni and Luke, just not Tank Commander Byron. Now that Russell has been traded, he'd be a better starting SG than Clarkson. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to the Clippers, since Redick is not returning.

Agree 100%.

Not sure why you guys hate him so much. When he first came here, he took a paycut to play for us. And he gave us something to cheer for during our scariest times (the Mikes, Kobe's Achilles, etc). He was proud to wear the P&G and I'll always like him for that.

Still hope he comes back. We need his shooting and he was a pretty solid defender last year before the tank came rolling back in.

I'm fine with Nick coming back for another year.

He had his best year of his career on both sides of the ball last season.

This team desperately needs shooting.
