NBA Champion Nicholas "Swaggy P" Johnson has a nice ring to it. Go get that ring, you crazy butterfly.

How long before the league does to the Warriors what they did to the Lakers? Swaggy P , 1 year, 5 million is a steal. Talkin bout a fit!! LeBron does not like this.

The Cavs had three years to try and take Swag El off our hands. Not our fault.

You know it. Good basketball is contagious on that team.

The Warriors border on illegal. They didn't stand pat on a championship team, they improved. I can just see NBA owners setting up secret meetings on how to stop them.

Where is Dan Gilbert when you really need him? LINK

Sucky P is gonna get lost on that team. Wouldn't surprise me if he has one of the worst seasons stats wise.

Nick is finally on a team not trying to tank, good for him. And more than likely he gets a ring.

Nick around a team full of vets is great. Nick around a team full of 20 year olds, not so much.

I love Nick the person but there was not longer a healthy pace for him on this team. If that seems fair.

Can't wait to see him kill it in GS.

Will be interesting to the see the clown culture vs winning culture clash. Nick Young will have to adjust. I predict it will take 5-10 games before Green rips into him for his lack of defense, poor decision making, poor court awareness. It's going to be gold. That being said, I wish him the best. It just wasn't going to work out here. Lakers had their best win streak with him out of the lineup.

If Nick decides to play D and adjust to the culture like KindCrippler said, he will earn some garbage minutes. If not, he will not be a happy camper.

If he does what he did last year, he'll be more than fine. That team has a culture and no single person can bring it down.

I'm sure Kerr has already asked Luke about him.

They got a ton of vets to keep him under control. Lakers had no one here to stop the clown other than Kobe who was not there most of the time but yeah he's a decent addition to a load of winners there

His defense was poorer than what people generally speak about it. He improved and had a few nice sequences that stuck in peoples' minds. But the loss really is his shooting.

Perhaps the more important part of things is his general lack of professionalism. It's under appreciated but his influence on Russell (pre-video) wasn't good. Fine do a homie, not the right example as a co-worker and, due to his vetaeran status, role model. He also had a less than stellar impact on Jordan. He mix of Swaggy's behavior and Scott's seargant routine was like gasoline to a match. Both at fault but still.

You don't want to see what that looks like with a new deal.

How did he influence Dlo's bad attitude and snitching? Kobe also cheated on his wife.

Sorry to see Swaggy go. He's gone to a better place.

Ball is a reason to have hope. I'll be watching to see if the influx of youth can develop into a winning squad.

I'm also enthused by the new FO. Magic and Pelinca are making moves that give me reason to believe we're gonna make a comeback.

Next season will tell if Magic and Pelinca have the wherewithal to bring us back to respectability.

Thank you, Nick Young, aka Swaggy P, for your effort and joyful nature, while playing for the Purple and Gold!

I wish you the best, in Golden State, just not when playing against the Lakers!

I think Golden State got even stronger this year so far, as hard as that is to believe.

Problem with Nick was usually his antics. I'm guessing the Warriors will keep him in check, versus his time here on the Lakers when nobody except Kobe could do it.

You mean Luke? Nick was on his best behavior under Luke I thought.
