I find things like the assist to kobe stat silly. In what context does nick have the ball while kobe is back cutting or running off a screen for a shot. It is the other way around. Even when nick has the ball and a live dribble, kobe tends to be flashing to the open top or wing area looking for the ball, and then going to work in iso mode.

And people say three years, but it actually boils down to only 12 36 minute blocks of playing together, due to Kobe's injuries and Nick being the guy to sub in for him.

How about some props for Swaggy? Feel like he's really settling into a 3&D role right now. Catch and shoot or pass if the shot isn't there, playing some spirited defense, and few isolations.

I know Scott views both Young and Kobe as SFs. But I think we should start both of them together and bring Lou off the bench.
The size will help our defense. Young shoots better from 3 than Lou. And Clarkson would be guarding PGs instead of SGs.

Also, it potentially frees up minutes for Anthony Brown.

Props to Nick tonight. Turner was killing the Lakers in the 4th until Nick came in to guard him, when he went scoreless for the remainder. Great job Nick on defense tonight.

Nick has given us a decent season, and I think that is all you can reasonably ask.

Nicholas (Swaggy - P) Young must be back in Coach Scott's dog house.

Two consecutive D-N-P's

Gotta give Nick props for his defensive play again tonight, I think he was our 2nd best defender after Bass. And it is good to see him passing up shots and getting some assists the past few games.

I hope Nick can improve and gets space for a trade. He needs out of LA and La needs out of Nicky.

Nick is living out his dreams in LA. Plus we could actually do worse.

I'm still a fan. I hope he works his way out of his slump. If Byron goes, he could do well under a different coach.

Good game today on offense and defense. The youngsters have to love Nick's personality, on some after game TWC interviews you can see him giving the youngsters a hard time in the locker room. Great to have a vet like that to keep things sane after losing so many games.

If we can get rid of Lou I would like to keep Swaggy. He's better on D and his contract doesn't really hurt.

He looks so slow out there compared to his first year here. Regardless, if we can get DeRozan, I would keep Nick over Lou

One way or another, he needs to go this offseason.

Both on and off the court, this guy is a bad influence. Whether it's his unfaithfulness to his fiance/this whole Swaggy/DLO drama (and I'm in no way defending DLO either), the controversy involving sexually harassing women with JC a few weeks ago, clowning around on the court and in the locker room in years past with Sacre, etc, he has an inability to take anything seriously and is a major distraction to this team.

Plain and simple, he's a loser. He will never win anything and he needs to go.

Definitely. I'm not trying to defend what DLo did, it was definitely stupid. But it pisses me off so much that all this drama happening now is over Nick Young. Dude is an immature scrub and the past two TMZ-esque incidents have involved him.

Russell at least has the excuse of being young and dumb. Nick is a grown-ass man that acts like he's a teenager still.

Russell has all-star potential and could be a huge piece for us down the line.

Just get rid of Young already.
