NOOOOOOO! (catching up from 39 pages ago) NOOOOOOOO!

Why must this happen? We probably have no one overplaying minutes.

Oh well, comeback story coming up.

I loved Randle's response when asked if Nick being hurt got the team down, he said "we weren't sure if he was hurt, we thought he might be goofing around".

Someone was being helpful adding the medical update to the title of my thread.....but confused the heck out of me by sending us to Pg. 30 from 39 pages back. Looks like you read from p. 30, which was from 2 years ago.

I updated the title to pg. 67.

Nice comeback game for Nick. He played hard and hustled on defense for the most part.

SWAGGY P was on fire from beyond the arc (5-7)! He played good defense too... Kudos to Nick.

Hopefully he doesn't command too much next year -- he's for sure opting out lol. His next contract will likely be the last big one. Lakers really need to make his re-signing a priority though -- he's played a key part in the Lakers success.

Naw. Thanks for being a pro this season Uncle P but please sign somewhere else. We need a real 3+D guy and his defense isn't gonna get better with age. Contract year folks.

I like young but lakers have a big decision to make. Either trade him at the deadline and get something in return or keep him. we cant keep letting guys walk during free agency and get nothing in return.

Nick is 31 and this is his best shot at one last significant payday. He has a skill that's at a high premium, every team has cap space, and almost no stars are going to hit the market. Nick Young will get paid. It will take a lot of money to keep him imo

I'm OK with letting him go. We also don't want to pay what he's going to make.

What do you think his contract will look like?

I'd say sell high the last months of his contract to Cleveland if they look like they've missed a step without JR. But they don't, so

Maybe there's another team who could use a shooter at the deadline.

One who could is the Lakers.

Please suggest the team or teams who are going anywhere near those figures for Young.

I'll be impressed if he sees something north of 3/35m with about $25m guaranteed. With his reputation around the league, he may not get that.

My guess is he gets something like a 3 year $33 Million deal from the Lakers. If the Lakers let him walk, he may be looking for another mid-level exception deal, which is going to be around $8 Million per year? Maybe someone will give him the full mid-level @ 4 years.

I dont think Cleveland has any assets to offer. I dont even think they have draft picks that can be traded until like 2020.
