I feel the Clippers have the advantage IF the Spurs value the picks in this draft. If not, not sure Celtics give up as much as reporters speculate
also depends on what Kawhi wants to do as far as hardball _________________ Salary Cap Strategist and Columnist at Bleacher Report and on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/EricPincus
If LB could convince KD to join him with the Lakers it would be a dream come true. Not only would we get soooo much better adding KD but the Warriors would drop to being beatable immediately without him. A double win!!
I like these "What If' articles. Emplay, of course, makes them pleasant without casting aspersions at any of the involved parties.. (not an easy task) _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! NOW!!

Why would Durant leave a team he just won back to back finals MVPs on to be a sidekick to LeBron? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
It’s strange. I always thought Durant would follow in Tracy McGrady’s footsteps and sign with Houston similar to how McGrady followed in Penny Hardaway’s footsteps when he signed with Orlando. After Durant joined the Warriors... then took a massive paycut, so they could sign role players... I have no idea what to expect. If they don’t offer the supermax then he might leave.
I have no respect for KD as a competitor despite recognizing the all world talent he has.
KD is chicken little when it comes to taking risks... he would rather join a 72 win team so he can coast to NBA Championships instead of show any loyalty, leadership, etc to his previous teammates, fans, etc.
I don't want KD in LA. I would rather have LeBron, Leonard, PG 13, etc come together and kick Golden State and KD to the curb and end the Warriors dynasty talk. _________________ A three headed monster... Jeannie, Pelinka, and Ham... another terrible season.
I don't really see why he would join, unless he wants to live in the city he plays for. He'd be playing 2nd fiddle to LeBron. I'm sure he wouldn't mind that but it wouldn't be any different then his situation now in GS. The only reason IMO he would consider it if there is some behind the scenes drama going on in GS.

He would be one of his kind. Could you imagine if he did that and took down the warriors he would instantly become the most controversial superstar in any sport
Ok, Kawhi is now the 2nd most joyless person I can imagine in a Laker uniform.
Reporter: KD, how does it feel to wear a Laker jersey?
KD: *shrugs* *stares stone cold at the reporter like he wants to murder him for even asking him that* it's a jersey. It feels like any other jersey.

Why would he join a 73 win team, a team he took 7 games in the WCF? Along with it, all the vitriol from the media and fans. It would be cool if he truly is a sick bastard. Leaves the back to back champs to join Lebron in LA. That would be equally wicked.
