It looks to be an exciting Laker roster for the Vegas Pro League. With Mike D'Antoni as head coach, there is athletic talent at SG and SF with 3-point range and other unique NBA abilities. The Vegas Pro League team will be led by Mike's brother, assistant coach Dan D'Antoni.

The roster includes:
Center - Robert Sacre, Travis Hyman, Mitchell Watt
Power Forward - Ryan Kelly, Elias Harris, Ian Hummer, Jordan Williams
Small Forward - Chris Douglas-Roberts, Lazar Hayward, Marcus Landry, Drew Viney, Renaldo Woolridge
Shooting Guard - Josh Selby, Michael Snaer, Souleymane Diabate
Point Guard - Lester Hudson, Kenny Boynton, D.J. Seeley

Robert Sacre

- After being drafted by the Lakers last season, he developed better perimeter touch from midrange, while still providing strong screens and rebounding abilities in spot minutes for the team. He is comfortable in pick and pop situations, but look to him to roll hard to the hoop and finish with authority in the painted area.

- Played in the DLeague last season, roughly 11 minutes per game. Only averaged 2+ rebounds, but 1.5 blocks per game in limited playing time. Plays like Tyson Chandler; finishes with authority, similar frame, good vertical ability for a center, and surprising shotblocking abilities.

Mitchell Watt

- Played for Israel last season, but former MAC Player of the Year. Average athlete at the NBA level, but solid from 17' and developing 20' range. Defensive minded player, who set a Portsmouth Invitational Tournament record with 13 blocks in one game. Good defensive IQ, where shotblocking was based purely on timing, not elite athleticism. Big body to set screens.

Ryan Kelly
- Will not play due to foot injury.

Ian Hummer

6'7" 230lbs.

- Averaged over 16 points per game on 53.5% shooting. Hovers around 30% behind the NCAA arc. He's undersized at power forward, listed at 6'7" 230lbs., but is a fair rebounder at 6.4 his senior year. His best talent is his court awareness under the Princeton offensive system, where he averaged 4.2 assists per game. He's also the 2013 Ivy League Player of the Year.

Elias Harris

Tweener forward with good athletic abilities. Undersized at the PF slot, but likes to finish with aggression and has a developing jumpshot. A/TO ratio is near 1:1, but he is an unselfish player. Jumpshot is a work in progress, but likes straightline drives to attack the basket. Moves off-the-ball well and has a great activity level under the hoop. Not known as a shotblocker despite very good vertical abilities. Needs to find a position that he's comfortable with and refine his skill set to figure out his identity as an NBA talent.

Jordan Williams

6' 7.75" 6' 9" 247 7' 0.25" 8' 10.5" 12.1 25.0 30.5 10 12.74 3.45

Strictly a paint player, operates in the post with a strong right hand. While he has an average vert and is undersized at the center position, he has broad shoulders and soft hands which allow him to finish with finesse in the painted area. As a sophomore, before declaring into the NBA draft, averaged 17 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game at the University of Maryland. In the DLeague, he averaged 10.5 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game the following year. He plays similarly to Robert Sacre, but has a more versatile post game to help him excel.

Didn't realize we had Selby on the team. I like that add.

Me too. Hoping the attitude is cleaned up, so he doesn't find out late like Gerald Green. Stll talented.

I'm still excited about Hudson. Killed it at the NBDL level during the playoffs.

I think you made a typo. There is no way Jordan Williams averaged 11.8 blocks!

I think if Douglas-Roberts dominates the summer league like he did the D-League, which is more competitive, that not only do we have a chance at winnning the first vegas championship (very important ), he'd also make it to the training camp roster.

The only others I can see potentially making it, before the summer league has started, are one of Josh Selby, Michael Snaer, Marcus Landry or Drew Viney.

We'll see what happens!
