OK, I didn't know he was talking about CL. I don't think CL would do that. She may have done as you say. My bad.....

Just giving you a hard time.

Be careful. It's been a decade since he had a hard time...

Not true son. And I don't need a blue pill.

Huh? She pulled out two relevant quotes to her argument and addressed them, and to be fair, didn't even list them as posted by you.

My post was edited and portions were bolded (I didn't do that). It's back to how I posted it now. She pulled the bold quotes into her post now.

I don't care it just seemed weird since I didn't post it that way.

Ah, I missed the interim step, which was why I didn't understand your issue. My guess is she accidentally hit edit instead of quote. Hope it is all fixed.

Yup. Sorry about that.

To tell you the truth, ChefLinda is not fit to be a moderator. After she moderates, she goes to sleep. There's clearly something going on, believe me.

We should say our good-byes now before CL is taken out by the Clinton Kill Squad.

Something similar has happened to me a couple of times in this thread, and it's part of the reason why I haven't posted here for a while. One of my posts, which was comprised of two quoted links critical of Hillary Clinton's actions regarding Guatemala and Haiti, was mysteriously deleted in the middle of the night. I had to re-post it the next day. Another one of my posts containing a quote from an excerpt of Thomas Frank's book was edited down significantly in length, without any moderator notation. Of course, I had no idea which moderator did these things, but I had my suspicions.

Uh oh, I'm going to post an article that is critical of Hillary Clinton. Quick, one of the moderators better edit this, by mistake or otherwise, without noting it.

Quote:
Hillary Clinton Picks TPP and Fracking Advocate To Set Up Her White House
Zaid Jilani & Naomi LaChance | Aug. 16 2016
[...]
And now she has named former Colorado Democratic Senator and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar to be the chair of her presidential transition team — the group tasked with helping set up the new administration should she win in November. That includes identifying, selecting, and vetting candidates for over 4,000 presidential appointments.

As a senator, Salazar was widely considered a reliable friend to the oil, gas, ranching and mining industries. As interior secretary, he opened the Arctic Ocean for oil drilling, and oversaw the botched response to the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Since returning to the private sector, he has been an ardent supporter of the TPP, while pushing back against curbs on fracking.
[...]
Shortly after leaving his post at the Obama administration, Salazar appeared at an oil and gas industry conference to argue in favor of fracking.

“We know that, from everything we’ve seen, there’s not a single case where hydraulic fracking has created an environmental problem for anyone,” Salazar told the attendees, who included the vice president of BP America, another keynote speaker at the conference. “We need to make sure that story is told.”

Personal anecdote time here: I'm spending a short vacation in Alaska and Hillary for America commercials are running here, and they aren't even running in Colorado. Pretty crazy because that must mean they see Colorado locked up and Alaska in play. Who would have expected that six months ago?

You'll have to hold down the fort since I'll be away on vacation until after Labor Day. I'll be at the Cape then in D.C. where I'm sure I'll run into all the other undercover super-duper secret operatives plotting the takeover of society as we know it.

This back and forth is one of the reasons I don't put a lot of faith in polls.

How many in the forum allow polls to influence their vote?
