Great episode, one of the best yet. Good to see they're committing to the bad guy Ward stuff. Of course, I will lose a lot of respect for the show if they cavalierly have Ward turn good again because of "love" or whatever, and the team takes him back despite him murdering many, many good guys in cold blood. |

I still don't buy Ward being bad. Maybe he's working on his own to take down Hydra. I like that better then him coming back to the good side because he cares about Skye. That seems like it's what will happen. |

Wow. Excellent episode. Looks like Ward really is the bad guy.
Looks like he may be the character that will be "torn" throughout the series. The bad guy with a good side. Kind of like that one blonde vampire guy in Buffy. |

Two more episodes left before the season finale I believe. I've become more invested in this show lately. I think the finale's going to good. _________________ Not a legend |

I think that this was the most convincing I've seen Skye act. When she was terrified it was pretty good. |

or maybe there are just too many white people in the cast and they needed to replace one. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Did anyone else crack up at that line between Coulson and Fitz?
Coulson: Who designed the technology?
Fitz: Bruce Banner
Coulson: Of course. What could go wrong? _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

I just binge watched most of the season. The difference between the first 10 and the second 10 episodes were huge. So much better now. It better get renewed. |

I'm going to keep an eye out for casting calls for the next time they are auditioning for Skye's next love interest. |

Okay, this show is getting better by the episode. Bad guy Ward and bad guy father figure Garrett? Awesome. |

Looks like the comic book season is a go. Shield, Agent Carter, Gotham, Arrow, Flash, iZombie, Constantine, Preacher, and Netflix with Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Defenders. |

The ratings still low after Uprising arc. They need closer tie ins to the movie and bring more movie characters in. _________________ The journey to 17 begins... |

I was watching some of the old star wars clone war animated series, and they did it right. Good story lines, strong tie in with the movies, cameo appearances like Greedo, Tarkin, Chewbacca, etc.
Shield is doing the opposite of that. I don't see them lasting season 2 unless they improve story line and have much strong movie tie ins. _________________ The journey to 17 begins... |

Ward is definitively bad, and he's gone too far to come back now, or at least he should have. It would be horrible writing if he somehow rejoined the team at this point. |

It really feels like they're setting it up for him to come back. Showing his background on how he got to be where he is so people would feel sorry for him and how he's conflicted on doing anything to harm the team. And the writing on the show isn't exactly great. |

Watched the episode last night, one of the better ones i've seen so far. Still way too cheeky for my taste. |

Feel the same but it's been a bit more interesting since the Winter Soldier tie-in. At least this was a proper guest starring of Sam Jackson.
I was surprised at the level of violence on this episode, especially for an ABC primetime show. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

The show definitely has picked itself up, and seems to have found a formula that works. I'm glad it got picked up for another season at least, and hopefully they can better implement tie-ins with the other movies coming out.
The show works best when it is actually part of the marvel cinematic universe, as opposed to doing its own thing within that universe. |

so what do you think? they keep Ward around to be a recurring bad guy? Probably breaks out and becomes another super soldier.
and Fitz, they probably will outfit him with some tech or super serum to keep him alive. _________________ "Kobe Bryant is the best player in the world and is basically unstoppable when his game is on" - Barack Obama

I really wanna like this show but I don't. The marvel link is the only thing that keeps me going. It started to get get around the initial hydra stuff but the last couple episodes weren't very good. |

I think at some point next season they have some sort of mission where they need help... and the only one that is capable of helping is Ward. You know... one of those things where the enemy is bigger than both of them, and both sides work together.
And then after Ward helps them he escapes, only to pop up every now and then as a "good" bad guy trying to make amends.
As for Fitz... hmmmm....
He probably comes back close to normal but doesn't remember telling Simmons anything. He probably loses his memory of the last week or so and thus still believes that Ward is redeemable. |
