Please let this HR snap Trout out of his slump. Please please please! _________________ Jeffs

Nice game by Pujols today. He was the MVP of the A's. |

The equivalent of replacing Kobe with Smush Parker. We're dicked in the playoffs. _________________ ...in my opinion. |

At best we're going to have to split the rest of the games with Oakland and take care of the other teams. Seems like the Halos enjoy losing to the A's far too much. _________________

should be a good game tonight. Lester looking to get back on track.. Wilson has dominated oakland 2.60 4-0..
Losing your Ace is a huge loss.. |

Oh well - Grilli yesterday, Smith today . . . Street tomorrow?!?
I actually think playoff caliber road games are a good thing - but winning a few would be better.
No reason to panic. We've had chances to win both games and realistially the only game I thought we might be favored to win was Sunday. |

with Weaver on the mound. probably best shot. Kazmir's been solid though.
Weaver hasn't been good over his last several starts though.. and the A's have lit him up this year.
I'm calling the sweep.
it'll be another story on thursday though.. I bet the bats come alive in Anaheim. |

Like I said, we were likely going to win 1 of 3 this weekend and this was the most likely game.
Up 9-0 in the 6th. |

Decent weekend - very good road trip.
Post Richards rotation begins tomorrow. Can't afford a letdown vs the Marlins. |

Stanton is such a beast - Almost at 35 HR's, 100 RBI's...Love Kershaw, but there's no way Stanton doesn't win the MVP. |

Mvp voting goes on season standings, kind of like nba voting. Although Stanton has been beastly offensively and defensively, the voters will barely look past season statistics.
I remember when Pujols outplayed Ryan Howard, and Howard got the mvp because of his team's record. Kind of why Trout hasn't won mvp yet, but you can add in that going up against a triple crown winner is difficult.
If Dodgers win the division, I think Kershaw has a real chance at winning. Looking at the names from the other playoff teams, I don't think there is much competition. Lucroy? Molina? Desmond?
It isn't a really great year, Kershaw could win this thing but I'd love it if the voters went against precedent and gave it to Stanton. |

Oakland loses late - 3 run HR in the 8th.
We're up 2-0 early. |
