I think chances are Dwight, but if he gets hurt again, then Marc.

Howard. People should be prepared to have Houston and Howard leaving LA shoved down our throats as much as possible. Stern loves this kind of thing. Houston players will receive a corresponding bump on anything that exposure helps.

Marc Gasol is the safe choice, unless Cousins lights it up out of nowhere.

Sadly, this. Dwight will also play harder now. Something he didn't always do last year.

Where is Hibbert on this list?

I think its DB12 that will get 1st team if he plays like his old healthy self.

Bye.

I think this speaks volumes on how highly people think of him.

Well he's definitely better than Amare.

Are they considering Duncan a C this year? If not then Howard for sure. If so then either one of those two.

True, but in making 1st team all nba you need some popularity. Hibbert doesn't have it, nor does he have the skills to get it.

I should have included Hibbert or Lopez instead of Amare, but he has virtually no chance anyway.

Doesn't move his feet well and has a limited offensive game.

It's more about his stats than popularity. The guy only averaged 12-8 on 45% shooting.

I believed he finished a distant 9th in the voting among centers. Even in the weak center category, you're not going to be first-team all NBA if you put up much less than 18-10. That's what Duncan did last year, and that may be the worst stats for an all-NBA first team center in 30 years.

Dwight. I'd rather have Al Horford myself, but something tells me DH is returning to his best form this season: 20 ppg, 13rpg, 2bpg.

Don't sleep on Cousins. If his head is screwed on straight, he can equal the numbers of any player on that list.

^Cousins' defense has always been iffy (0.9 blk career avg), and his FG% has always been below 50FG% (45FG% career avg). Neither are very impressive for an elite big man. It's not just his head that needs work. His skills need refinement too.

Marc Gasol. Howard's athleticism is still the best but Harden and Lin will still get the offensive touches until Howard gets a post game. Marc Gasol will have similar stats and get the nod coming off last year.

Like I said, of course stats are super imprortant, but when you have a bunch of guys who put up similar stats, the most popular one gets the nod.

This Poll is an epic fail... Hibbert is the best center in the league and he isn't even listed?
