This bullpen really scares the crap out of me. They can't go 1-2-3 even when they have a huge cushion. Imagine them in high-pressure situations.

Barring injury, he'll have quite a few more Triple Crowns in the future. The gap between him and #2 NL pitcher in EVERY pitching category is just too wide.

Can't be any worse than Broxton at least. Okay that's not saying much.

There's got to be a way to put Turner in the starting line-up.

Look for a rib shot to Puig, Ramirez or Kemp in the Dodgers two home opening games.

ESPN's Baseball Tonight crew just gave their World Series predictions and none of the guys had the Dodgers even in it, let alone winning it all. Everyone's high on the Nationals.

got my tickets for game 2 on saturday. can't wait.

this series has the potential to be like the lakers beating boston in 2010. lakers were under-matched, injured and got pushed around in 2008. they came out in 2010 and let the celtics know they weren't gonna be pushed around this time around.

i'd really like to see us hit one of their core guys early on to send them a message.

i hate the cards so much.

Drill Holliday in the ribs. If there's no warning, do it again. Do it first so that the warning is issued to both dugouts. Don't give St. Louis a free pass like last year.

Yeah and it's not even bush league because it's the only way to protect our guys. We already know how low they'll sink to get an advantage.

Let's hope AGon, Kemp, and the boys continue their stellar batting to give our aces support. If they put enough runs up, we won't have to worry too much about the bullpen.

Not sure how I feel about the Nationals....there's something about them I can't wrap my head around.

I've been saying this. I don't see how, though. Possibly sub for Dee against lefties or if heaven forbid, Hanley gets injured again.....? And Uribe's pretty money in the playoffs. But yeah, I want Turner in the fold.

And the dude only made a Mil this season--hey Ethier, wanna share some of that 15M?

As for playing, I'd give him one of those big ol' round padded gloves, show him what one finger down meant, and so on and so forth.

If they make it to the WS, they not only have one great DH, but two with Van Slyke.

Next year they need to trade at least one of their outfielders. I really don't care which; it just depends on the offer. As long as they can get another solid starter for whomever, then go for it.

If it's Puig, I want a number 1
If it's Kemp, I want a number 2
If it's Van Slyke, I want a number 3
It it's Crawford, I want a number 4
If it's Peterson, I want a top 10 prospect
If it's Either, I'd take a bag of sunflower seeds.

Exactly, I've asked the question could Turner play the outfield? I was ready to give him Crawford's left field spot. He couldn't have played worst defense or throw worse than Crawford. Crawford started to hit so it makes it tough where to put Turner. At second base but you give up Gordon's speed and havoc he can cause on the bases when you have to manufacture some runs in the playoffs. It seems like everyone is doing just enough in the starting lineup to keep their job and they are hitting better as a team now. Definitely when they make the World Series, he's definitely DH'ing!

So, think about this. If you could pick just one, who, between Hanley and Turner would you sign?

Now, considering the Dodgers will maintain the rights to Turner (as far as I can determine without digging into the CBA) as he has less than seven years experience (where I believe the cutoff starts), and Hanley, who is a free agent, who, between Hanley (who will ask for something like $15 - 20M) and Turner (who will be arbitration eligible and will receive $3 - 6M, I'm guessing) do you choose?

The one no one seems to talk about that much is Darwin Barney. Dude's a genius with the glove and he's been batting 400 in his last 10. Good backup, good pickup. Have a feeling he'll have a key play in one of these series.

Our bench has been deep and versatille this year.

1. Justin Turner
2. Scott Van Slyke
3. Andre Ethier
4. Drew Butera
5. Darwin Barney
6. Miguel Rojas
