I wasn't aware that the Spurs played games at Staples Center in Cali. Thanks for the heads up!

ESPN's uselesness is at an all-time high. Their injury report page sucks.

Tough game coming up. Hopefully Pop hasn't had time to scout our guys yet, and the Spurs generally start seasons a little slowly, but they have a lot of shooting, which could bury us like the Warriors did.

I actually think MDA should start Kaman, since the Duncan-Splitter frontcourt is too much for Williams and Pau isn't exactly a physical beast. I'd put Pau on Duncan and Kaman on Splitter. Pau has always used his length against Duncan well. If that happens, I think this will be the key matchup of the game.

Hopefully, the guys still remember the notorious beat-down by the Spurs, but most of the guys are new to the game, so this might be just another game for the Lakers.

With Tim Duncan (chest contusion) doubtful per @JMcDonald_SAEN, SAS could start Parker-Green-Leonard-Diaw-Splitter vs. LAL on Friday.

I don't think them missing Duncan will matter...if the Lakers don't come in ready to defend and execute better on offense, they will lose.

Duncan had 3 points against the Grizzlies and they won by 7, scoring 101 points. Right now it's the Parker/Leonard/Splitter trio that does the damage, from what I've seen. Lakers need to contain the pnr and make sure they rotate fast to Leonard on the weak side during kickouts.

Duncan is a TOSB, but he's still useful. I hope he does play. I want to see how well this team rebounds.

Hopefully we won't have to hear about "Finally back to .500!" and "Season starts tomorrow" anymore.

I would just say that the spurs are the luckiest team in the legaue and should have never made it too the finals last year they're sweep of us was totally randam and just a product of luck and DH12 being a gigantic wussy and quitting on the city and country of LA so i for 1 am not scared of these wussy spurs or they're broken players like manu and parker and injured all the time duncan or there new players like Lenard or diaw or whomever is coming into the game off of there bench I mean COME ON we are the lakers and own the spurs franchize for like decades accept last year so bring it on
