The word MINIMUM should not be ignored. He could easily be out longer.

Two weeks will turn into a month, a month will turn into three and his comeback will keep getting prolonged all season. He's finished

That's good news. Hopefully he's not out too long. We have a 4 days break later this month, so perhaps he returns for the first game after that.

I still believe he can regain some of his health, and thus, some of his previous form.

I was so close to calling exactly this in the big Nash thread. 2 weeks and reassess.

@32 this is the one that wouldn't need surgery right?

I hope he can come back this season. I'd hate to see him go out like this.

You are surely right CL. All Nash is getting tomorrow is a pain reliever. By no means a cure or even suitable treatment for what he has. He needs 10 days to 2 weeks rest just so the doctor can get an understanding of whats going on his body. From there who knows.

I'm really glad he's sitting out. If it's really something that will heal and he can get back to some semblance of himself, great. If he's just done, still great, because it lets other guys play.

Now we just need Pau to visit the doctor

No surgery needed for this. I think they said a herniated disc would probably require surgery.

Laker doctors said Nash would be out one week last year after being injured on halloween and he ended up coming back in the middle of December. So he will probably be out for 2 months lol

Forget it lol.

It is not possibly viable to be playing a 40 y/o PG limited minutes, no b2bs, under constant injury watch, and expect him to make noise in the season.

He needs to save his body. Shaq thought he could keep plugging things up with all kinds of shots to save his season but he eventually just faced the music.

I'm happy to be able to watch him close out his career with us but he needs to take a long look at himself in the mirror here.

Interestingly enough, NRI is the same condition caused by watching Pau play these days.

One that will either find a way to make him play hard or get him to sit.

Nash getting an epidural shot in his back but Lakers fans can't be too optimistic. Nash had 4 epidurals in April, couldn't finish playoffs.
