The key thing that fans have to remember when thinking about who the Lakers should draft is Kobe Bryant.
Whenever Kobe comes back he will be dominating the ball so whoever we draft has to be able to play/score without the ball in his hands but still have the potential to grow into a dominant scorer.
That is why I like Jabari Parker and Glenn Robinson III. These two players can find ways to score without the ball in their hands. GR3 flashed this last year at Michigan but I think this year he will transition into a dominant scorer. I believe that Kobe can train him to become the next Paul George, after Kobe retires. I like Jabari Parker as well because of his ability to shoot. He is a guy who does not waste time scoring the ball. Kobe can pass Parker the ball and Parker can quickly create a scoring oppurtuinity. I would go after players like this. |

Totally disagree. While Kobe Bryant is on the team, he's in the last years of his career. His role will change, just as Shaq did in his later years too.
The Lakers need a franchise player, and whoever is best, is the guy. If it's a duplicate player by position, so be it. The team can build around that guy and have capspace to work with.
That's what extends championship windows. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Very true, I actually agree with you. I change my mind. |
