I'd like to access ballstreams as well. What do you need to do to get a invite? Is this site legal? Is there some secret pass phrase? |

I signed up and just got an invitation.
I was able to sign up.
They require a paid subscription though. |

I'm not sure if it is worth paying for though.
It's 90 bucks for a year and 60 bucks for 6 months.
It's cheaper than NBA League Pass but I just worry about this operation being one that NBA likely won't approve of and the quality of stream might not be all that great. And if so, I may never be able to get my money back. |

When you canceled were you allowed? IIRC when I had league Pass, years ago, when I canceled I had to pay for the entire season, with no refund for the remaining games not seen. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I use it. Love ballstreams. Also comes with free access on phone which works great over 4g, both on iphone and android.
I use it with my roku and the quality is near HD
If you plug in a laptop and your machine and internet connection can handle 3200Kbps, then youll get a very nice high quality 60fps HD stream, looks better than almost any other sporting event on tv |

Update: I signed up for it and now using it on my 70" TV.
I can see that the picture quality of the stream is good but there is some stutter and variable issues depending on the game (a line near edge flashing for instance).
I think it's pretty nice for flexibility it offers and the lack of a cable subscription but clearly it is not quite as nice as just watching it off of cable. |

1. League Pass has only 9 channels reserved for game feeds. So some nights when there's fewer games, they can double up and show the home and away feeds for certain games.
2. Tonight they are doing it for Detroit vs. Indiana and Orlando vs. Chicago.
3. Lakers @ the Hawks?..if you're a Lakers fan, thanks for the money, now (bleep) off and deal with the Hawks announcers, because that's all you get.
4. Oh, you want the game in HD? Haha...Hope you like Detroit or Indy, because that's the only game in HD....so deal with the grainy SD feed.
I'm getting tired of paying for piece of (bleep) product that has made marginal improvements over the years. Here we are in 2013, and most of the feeds are still in SD, and you are basically always stuck with the opposing team's announcers if your team is on the road.
/rant |
i have league pass and watched the lakers announcers..... on directv the channel is 691 for the lakers, it's not league pass you are mad at, it should be your cable provider. |
I also am a directv customer with league pass and watching/recording games on 691. All of a sudden last night vs memphis it switched channels to a Memphis feed. what the heck |
never had such a problem, i record every lakers game because i work nights, when i get home i always have a flawless HD picture from the Lakers feed/announcers, except when it's on NBATV or ESPN, TNT or ABC basically. |

Didn't want to start a new thread so bumping this one.
As you can see, I just joined this forum and want to give something back to the existing members.
I am a member of ballstreams (no affiliation). Joined late September/13 for one year service $62.99 all in payed through paypal (this was there one promotion special).
If your wondering if this service is for you and what the quality is like, I am willing to give you access to my account for one day (so others may get a chance at testing it out). Note that you can watch summer league games and all past games from last season (click todays date link -> calendar icon). Make sure to play with quality and location servers to see what works best for you.
I'm making this offer for members that have joined prior to 2013 but may make exceptions if you can convince me.
Please PM me and I'll set you up.
EDIT:
I am using a 3MB download service and highest quality works for me, very little buffering issues, dropped frames are more frequent, but I just accept this as part of the service. |

usually during the first week of the season the NBA gives a 1 week free trial of the the NBA League Pass for online streaming via computer, ipad, phones.
It's a great service with HD and I love it. |

I love League Pass so I'm happy to pay $189/season for it. It's a better deal than NFL Sunday Ticket to me since there are more games to watch.
With that said, I'd probably check out Ballstreams if I didn't have DirecTV. |

I think it's $129.99 for Broadband only. Not much of a savings. You get TV and streaming with the regular deal for League Pass.
There' s mobile package too for $50 which lets you watch on phones and tablets.
This is last year's pricing though...so it might change. |

Aren't there blackout restrictions with League Pass? Not good for those that are not tech savvy to circumvent. |
