OK so lets say we get a draft pick from somewhere like 12-20ish, and all of the great/good prospects are gone, would you trade that first round pick for Barnes? |

I'd love to get Barnes, but I don't see them giving him up for just a mid 1st round draft pick. He's only 21, so he still has some upside. |

Given their pending salary position, they might actually be willing to move him for a decent draft pick (technically the lakers cant trade a pick, but they can select for them) and some of these min contract roleplayers, I'd imagine they'd fit in great in the warriors system and actually give them a bench, lol
Problem with it, it'd have to be some sort of sign and trade of those guys. |

i don't understand why GS is having this guy coming off the bench. i know they have Iggy now, but you have to let the 3 young nucleus grow together: Curry, Thompson and Barnes. it seems to me Barnes is an after thought, Iggy is playing the most and crucial minutes at SF |

Because Curry is much better utilised as a shooting guard, there are only a cpl point guards who are any good at navigating screens defensively, particularly off ball so they use Iggy to hockey assist the offense, just like Jarrett Jack played point guard last year. Take a look at their Barnes vs Iggy lineup stats, it's a huge differential. |

Would Golden State consider a trade for Jordan Hill and Nick Young. These guys are 2 of the main reasons our bench is so good but and Golden State really only needs a better bench. They are pretty stacked with their starters.
As for the Lakers, would love to keep these two guys, but obviously neither has the potential as a starter that Barnes has. |

I'd love to have him, unfortunately we don't have anything to get him with though. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

The only way would be if the ownership group is concerned with re-signing their young players and wanted to lessen luxury tax hits. In that case an ending contract might be valuable. I doubt that is the case, though. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I wonder if we could get Barnes for Gasol?
Lee would have to be included to make salaries work and traded to a third team like the Suns or Bobcats with us getting the expiring contract of Okafor or Gordon. |

If we are in the 8-10 realm, maybe Barnes. I think Warriors value him pretty highly, but will likely be able to pay both Klay and Barnes in the future. They may be able to get better assets (or even dump David Lee with Barnes for another star). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I prefer Klay. But not for our draft pick. I'll just wait until gsw can't afford him |

He has 3 years left on his contract. GS will ride him out and watch him grow. They will either find a way to resign or trade him in a big package kinda like the Harden deal. If he is traded now it's a package for a top draft pick or for a superstar package like Kevin Love. |

I like Barnes in that at least he would fit right into that anti-Durant, anti-LeBron position, and he'd be someone that can contribute going into his third year while still being inexpensive enough to not get in the way of adding Kevin Love in 2015.
PG- Lowry, Marshall
SG- Bryant, Young
SF- Barnes, Johnson
PF- Gibson, Kelly
C- Pau, Hill
Not a bad squad... |
