Really happy with the Lakers drafting Randle. I had it down to him and Smart and we got him. Great stuff.
Hope Clarkson might turn out as well. _________________ "We might have had the worst season ever or could have the worst season ever for a Lakers team, but now let's have the greatest comeback that the league has ever seen." - Kobe Bryant

It was a good thread boys. From Tanking for Wiggins to envisioning Exum to being pissed at Nick Young to thinking the lotto is rigged for the Cavs to talks of Smart/Randle/Gordon/Volneh to fearing of taking Mcderm... we end up with Randle
Very happy to have landed Randle! I think that was our best case scenario at 7. _________________ "I was just letting the shots fly. You know, I don't leave any bullets in the chamber." -Kobe
This is not the time to slack off MikeLG....I have some brilliant gems within the last 100 pages!
Are you excited about Randle? I am very happy with that pick, I wanted Gordon but Randle was my second choice and I was happy it fell the way it did. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny

Actually, I like Gordon a lot too, even if it seems my draft list didn't reflect it. Unfortunately, this was about drafting BPA and team need at the same time. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Both Utah and Celdicks caulk blocking the Lakers from getting a stud PG. Randle is undersized and will be a bust.

I'm so mad right now. I bet Boston did that on purpose.

I hope he can grow another 1-2 inches - I'd be thrilled..

Do you remember Marcus Fizer?
If West was still our GM there's no way Randle would be the pick IMO...

i don't think the wingspan is there to protect the paint, nor am i sure he's quick enough to guard the perimeter, which is where more and more PF's play now.

I don't like that Randle has been playing the least amount of minutes our of those rookies listed above. Scott needs to let the kid play more and less Sacre/Boozer.
