Ohio State

As for my Trojans, it just goes to show you how terrible Lane Kiffin was as head coach.

UCLA defense is pretty putrid based on how easy Memphis is shredding it.

UCLA not looking too impressive the past 2 games. DEF is a bit weak and the O-Line isn't looking good either.

USC should be able to beat them. If not, they have some real mental weaknesses.

This is what happens when you invite LeBron to your games although he left the game in the 4th Quarter(no I'm not joking)

USC will be favored in the next 8 games and should be 10-0 going into their November match-ups against UCLA (at Rose Bowl) and Notre Dame (at Coliseum).

Watch out for the games at Arizona and at Utah.

There's nothing from Steve Sarkisian's past to suggest at some point he won't start underachieving. His UW teams always seem to have a great start and then start to fizzle. Never understood why.

We used to say that about the Pete Carroll teams too though and they would consistently find a way to lose a couple of games. You could argue the conference is even tougher now. The average PAC-12 team is capable of upsetting just about anybody so I don't take those teams lightly.

They are missing 3 starters on the o-line. I'm not sold on the idea that the defense won't be a strength for them this year. If the o-line starters come back and stay mostly healthy then I'll be really interested to see how well they run the ball. If they struggle to run then they will basically be the same team as last year IMO, which means they won't be a top 10 team.

So Lebron is at the Ohio State game with Norris Cole and Eric Bledsoe I'll laugh if Ohio State loses in front of LeBron.

Meanwhile m'Irish are up 21-0 vs Michigan.

Either Everett Golson dramatically improved from two years ago or Michigan isn't that great its early but this game seems too easy.

Why? Lebron has been to several of their games. I'm sure they have lost a game he has been to before.

Michigan and the BIG10 are reallllllyyyyy that bad this year. I think Michigan St will rebound and have a respectable year. Played Oregon tough for 3 quarters and fell apart. If my Buckeyes can get a starting 5 on the o-line they/we can have a decent year. After Braxton Miller got hurt I thought we would go 10-2, but I didn't think the o-line would be that bad, or the WR's would drop 10 passes. Luckily we are in the worst confrence.

Sark in trouble again, has there been a USC coach with this much negative press his first couple of weeks with the team?

To be fair, this was the first one he actually personally caused by calling out for mommy.

Too bad thats not how college football works. There is always an upset in the making. Always a team out there which will play out of their mind one weekend a year.

I agree, it has just been a tough couple of weeks for him here, though not his fault.

The SEC has 4 teams ranked in the top 7 and 5 teams ranked in the top 10. No other conference has more than 2 top ten teams. I wouldn't be surprised to see the SEC get 2 playoff teams in the final 4. Maybe even 3 playoff teams is possible.

It is a fishbowl now but Sark could be a fantastic coach for USC. The kid from Torrance has always been an achiever and I bet he brings a National Title to USC before he is done.

I can't believe that USC is behind at halftime to Boston College.

The PAC-12 is looking extremely overrated right now. The only serious contender for a national championship is Oregon.

Oregon has looked great these last few seasons until they play Stanford. I'm going to wait until they start conference play.

Pac-12 is not overrated; the Big 10 is overrated and half of the SEC blows.

USC is coming off an emotional road win at Stanford last week. And now they have to play another road game on the East coast. Classic trap game.

The Washington schools and UCLA looked unimpressive to me. UCLA was supposed to be the trendy pick to win the conference and make the playoff. That was an argument for the conference being so good. But I think they basically look the same as last year.

I'm not sure about Utah and ASU. Arizona looked horrible in its second game.

Boston College ran for over 220 yards in the first half and their passing offense sucks. I think that's a major concern. USC will face much better offenses than this.

USC is very talented but because of limited scholarships they are thin in depth. As injuries start to pile up they are going to struggle later in the season.

I think it's okay to underachieve a little bit and have a game that's sort of ugly. That kind of letdown is okay as long as you still win by at least 10 points. But you don't lose. And Boston College is still kicking their ass as I watch this. It's looking embarrassing.
