Apologies if this has been posted before, but I had not seen it.

If you use Google calendars, you can easily add the Lakers' (and other teams) schedules to your own calendar. At the left side, click the drop down button under "Other calendars." Select "Browse Interesting Calendars."

On the next screen, click the "Sports" tab at top. Select "Basketball," choose NBA, and then subscribe to the Lakers (or other teams).

You will now have the whole 2012-13 schedule on your own calendar, so you will never miss a game.

Click on Calendars on your phone. Select the menu at top right. Select "Calendars to display." You should see this list of calendars....and...uhm....

OK, Lakers schedule not showing up for me either. Let me work on that and see what I can find.

After having the Lakers schedule on my calendar, I clicked on calendar again just to make sure it shows. It was unchecked, so I checked it. Refreshed again, it was showing on the calendar.

Then I went to my phone, refreshed and in the settings for the calendar. It now gives me the option to show the Lakers schedule as well. Annnd it still doesn't show.

- Complicated alternative is to manually Copy to Calendar every Laker's game. It'll then show in your phone.

Anybody know if Google has figured out a way to have this actually show up on the Phone? Last time I checked, it wouldn't SYNC to show up...but I'm still on Gingerbread, so dunno if that changed with ICS or Jelly Bean.

Ok, here's what I did to make it appear on my Galaxy Nexus (running 4.1 jellybean, but I'm sure the same routine will work for all 2.3+ versions of android)

Open the calendar app
Click on the menu button at top right corner
Click on settings
Select your calendar account (johndoe@gmail.com for example)
Check mark the Lakers (make sure you log into your google account through a pc to enable "sync" for the lakers calendar beforehand)
Done

Yeah, for some strange reason, it doesn't show up as selectable on my Photon. It shows US Holidays, but not Los Angeles Lakers.

No worries though. I just ported the entire schedule into Google using my the import file.

This... Yup you have to add the calendar to your google calendar on pc. Then unsync your gmail account on your phone and re-sync it.

Also a Verizon Galaxy nexus running custom JB rom.

Yes, you don't use Google's sports calendars if you also want to see them on the Hero, you use Yahoo's (go figure!).

You need a yahoo account; log in, go to Yahoo Sports, to the league of your choice, to the team of your choice, to Score & Schedules (the one *under* the team banner, not the one closer to the top of the page), to Add to Calendar, to Synch with Google and then follow the clear instructions. You will be taken to Google Calendar; hit Refresh and then look on your phone

Thanks so much!
