I have a feeling Jeanie, Mitch, PJ, Kobe, Magic, etc all told the team to lose today in favor of the tank, but Jimbo Sterling Buss demanded a win because he doesnt care about the Lakers future.

With the talent we have we will hover in the 40% win range.

We NEED to trade Pau or we can kiss a top 6 pick goodbye.

If there is an NBA agenda out there, I think the Lakers making a miracle run and getting in to the playoffs >>>> putting them in a position for more lottery balls.

If Ryan Kelly becomes a solid rotation player at his salary along with Marshall at his that's a big deal. That's a major boost to FA.

First off, good win. Definitely stepped up the D and effort. That just shows you they can defend it's about effort and execution. Coaching staff has to press on it.

Second, I don't think maybe making the playoffs is a worth while run, when you look at the number needed - say 44 at least - we're still like 28 wins away from that. Gonna have to go 28-13. In the west. Without Kobe for at least 2-3 more weeks.

Free throws: 26/28.

We've lost a ton of games just because of that.

We are attacking the basket and being more aggressive. LAst two games we have shot a ton of FTs. We need to continue that.

Good win. Wonder where R.Kelly would go in the 2013 draft now. Probably top 10.

On draft day I hated the choice of Kelly, I'm really surprised how well he's stepping up. If he keeps this up he'll be a top 10 rookie this year so I agree.

The question is if we arent going to make the playoffs; whats the purpose of accumulating wins? I just dont get it...

As for the NBA, we couldnt get calls for awhile; but at the end of this game we were getting so many calls

I think it might have been the skirmish at PHX and the closed door meeting that lit a fire under this team....

The tankers must hate this...

Not gonna lie I was coming around to the idea of supporting the tank recently but I still scream and shout for our Lakers to win! LOLOLOL

Nice beatdown on the Craptors especially after they disrespected us on our home court during Kobe's return earlier this season!

Really enjoyed watching Pau destroy Jonas Valančiūnas.
Jonas is a pretty damn good up and coming big man and Pau took him to school today!

Seriously. Such a shame on Kobe's comeback but at least we got our revenge and Amir Johnson didn't look like Wilt Chamberlain today lol

P.S. Your Embiid avatar is making me lean more towards supporting the tank.
Dude looks like he could be the next Anthony Davis.

Long term, definitely, a good draft pick is best but ....

1. The Lakers aren't tanking, they're trying to win every game so they are going to get wins with or without help
2. The league would love the ratings of seeing the Lakers in the playoffs. I am sure the bandwagon crash has caused a noticeable drop in ratings

If the refs had an agenda out there, getting the Lakers some more wins would be it. I doubt that is going to happen but there's definitely no way they're going to help the Lakers tank, the league could just cheat on draft night if they're in the conspiracy business
