Why can't the Lakers just pick-up Andrew Bynum and Have Kareem teach him the fundamentals of the position again. He would be ready for next season for cheap.

His knees are almost done and he wants more than the minimum.

I haven't seen the cavs this year yet but have seen a few box scores. Why are Bynum's shooting percentages so low? Is his athleticism completely gone?

Better yet, why can't they just figure out a way to bring Wilt Chamberlain back to life and have him play center next year?

That is all true. But to be fair, I believe his knees cause him a lot of pain.

Hard to perform in constant pain.

he's a perfect fit for D'Antoni! He could launch those 3s with the best of them! Forget Kareem, get Steve Kerr in here to show him how to shoot 3s!

To have a big under the basket for a low price that doesn't get pushed around every game....like all our other big men do.

What if the big you are talking about misses more than half the season or whole season as he did last year. Did his knees get better? He has stated that he still has pain.

MDA would not play him. It's moot to sign a center when Kaman is probably healthier and more capable than an injured, unmotivated Bynum and he barely gets any playing time. Even Hill gets 20 minutes or less a game and he is capable.

Pau plays because he has high post skills, passing, and midrange abilities, but he prefers the post and he has the shortest leash out of any healthy 19 million dollar player in the league.

And is a total head case. I dunno?

He's heavy and who the hell will want to play for Mike "Throw you under the bus" D'Antoni, especially a big.

Bynum is extremely honest, he will probably openly talk about tanking plans if he is brought in.
