Not going to help if they play .500 ball.

Exactly. 33 games left in the season? We're neck and neck? No amount of losses will make up the deficit when the teams are all this close in the first place.

I think we are 5 games from the 2nd seed. 2 games from the 4 seed. Calm down people.

It's disheartening, man. Hard to calm down when this would have easily put us back up. 5 games... Hell, even 2 games is a lot when all the other teams have just as much to gain as we do.

I'm not sure but if we had lost to Boston, Philly and Cleveland, we would be a 3 seed now. No?

Correct. We would be. There is no cushion with 30+ games left, because those teams are gunning for a high draft as well. It's all or nothing because staying in the middle doesn't give you anything but a future sign and trade.

Thanks, but being able to that would require some intelligence on your part and well, that's not one of your strengths either.

1. You want to malign my "intellect" and that's the sentence you went with?

2. Apologies, here are your strong points: 40k posts without ever typing a single thing of substance. It's either "lol" (or equivalent thereof), passive aggressive insulting or your cliche joke pattern of sarcastic invocation of a strawman argument. E.g. the Lakers lose and we're treated to "LULZ Lakers are so much better without Kobe!!" Or "team ball Illuminati ftw!"

3. I'm banned and it was worth it.

20-32 by the OKC game. The irony of it all is that had they been healthy they would have probably been a good team.

Good observations, maybe there's hope for you yet. Now if you'll excuse me, I have more "sarcastic invocations of strawman arguments" to make. Nasty business.

"NIGHT CAP - RECAP"

Quote:
PHILADELPHIA (AP) Steve Nash scored a season-high 19 points and the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 112-98 Friday night.
Wesley Johnson and Chris Kaman each scored 17 and six Lakers finished with double-digit points.

Lol, man, the Sixers suck. Nice to see another win, even though I know it hurts our draft position, blah blah blah.

Jesus christ. I hate being upset at winning, but they are going to (bleep) ruin our future.

+1

Dont worry we have 40 yo nash 33 yo blake farmar kaman and some random 7th pick. Future is bright yo. We are the lakers we always will find a way to win. Lebron will sign with us. Blah blah blah. Delusional white knight fans.

The gm needs to understand that each meaningless wins will corrode our rebuilding. The difference could be a hinrich or a wade
