D'Antoni on Nash: "His hamstring was a little fired up." Said he thinks Nash is "day to day" but hasn't discussed it w/training staff.

Kaman just said "Everybody knows we want to win. It's not like we're out here tryna chase picks. It's not what we're doing at all, I promise. I don't think anybody thinks that way, but it's frustrating, you know? The team that's trying to go for picks, and when they beat us by 20, it's frustrating".

damn

He's right. They're going to get one but as a team that gets them all the time, I'm sure they're not anticipating it as much as the Lakers.

Blake asked about Nash and his struggle to push through injury: "He's been an inspiration for me since before I even knew him."

Blake's elbow is very much still bothering him and affecting his shot. It's painful when he shoots, and limits his ability to even practice.

it's gotten so bad Cavman version "The team that's trying to go for picks, and when they beat us by 20"

This is embarassing but you have to remember our roster is the worst in the NBA right now. Literally 4 of these guys on the floor right now (Blake, Kendall, Wes johnson, Shawn Williams) could be out of the NBA next year. Kaman is pretty much the only one that teams would want. I mean the talent on this team is just non existent.

Why would Steve Blake be out of the NBA next season?

Well... he sort of sucks if the last 3 years haven't shown you that. I can see him getting a veteran's deal somewhere as a 10 minute a game guy possibly though.

Not only was he playing great before his injury, even if the "10 min a game vet deal" turns out to be true, that's not the same as not in the league is it? Nope.

He's never been a star, he's not one now, I've never heard him claim to be one either, but Blake's had a solid career and he'll be fine.

Kaman is showcasing his trade value right now, I think he could care less if the Jazz beat us by 20.

UGLY STAT OF THE NIGHT

REBOUNDS: UTAH 55 (15 OFFENSIVE) LAKERS 40

UGH

Usually that stat is blamed on Kaman and Hill not playing.

Usually Kaman is not taking Gasols minutes.

UTAH BEAT THE HEAT; THEY CAN PLAY WHEN THEY WANT TO.

* However on Tuesday I expect the Jazz to do their best "Tiananmen Square tank" impersonation!

Ohh man you just had to go there.

Dont worry. We will be rolling out some heavy hitter tank operations. With the Nash re-injury and other still scheduled injuries and coaching strategery, we are really going to stack the deck on this one.

Not to say I called it, well ok I called it.

I'm impressed, never thought we'd out-tank any of the professional tankers of the world.
