Why the hell are the Blazers taking a fade away 3 down 1? Just stupid basketball.

They don't want us to get a top pick either!

Great game!
I was losing it when Brooks didn't know how to box out.

We win people are upset - we lose people are upset. It seems the fans reflect the personality of the coach

At the end of the day, as somebody else just said, it was worth shutting up those damn PDX fans.

Again, I know this hurts our tank, but I love the win. Fun ass game. What a great final play drawn up by MDA and executed by Baze and Wes.

I knew this would happen. A healthy Laker team + teams looking past them. Lakers about to go on a little run, for better or worse...Might be out of the bottom 5 by season's end but we also might have guys worth bringing back.

Except that we're severely strapped when it comes to bringing back some of these guys. If they play well and deserve a shot next year, guess what - they're actually gonna cost us some money. And none of these guys is worth eating into a max salary slot. As much as people like to defend and even ignore it, Kobe's extension is gonna lose us a couple of players off this year's team (and crucial depth) that we could've otherwise signed to long-term deals.

So at season's end, we're gonna look back at this kind of victory and realize how meaningless it was in the long run.

Mike Trudell ‏@LakersReporter
Portland had won 12 of the last 15 games here vs. LAL, but tonight, LAL played effective small ball from the beginning in a 107-106 win.

Wes did a heck of a job trying to guard Aldridge tonight. He really battled.

He lived up to his lottery pick status tonight. If only he could be consistent.

Bazemore with two game winning plays

D'ing up Matthews on Portland's shot and then assisting Johnson's bucket.
