DeMarcus Ware cut, visiting Denver
Quote: | The Cowboys have released their all-time leader in sacks, saving $7.4 million against the salary cap but creating the need to find a pass-rusher for a defense that struggled to get to the quarterback in 2013.
According to a source close to Ware, he will look to make a decision on his playing future quickly and will be selective about where he goes.
The Denver Broncos have emerged as the favorite to sign Ware, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. |

Aqib Talib agrees to terms with Broncos on contract
Quote: | Talib is now teammates with Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker, who left the Patriots in one of the biggest free agent moves of last offseason. The receiver and cornerback collided in the AFC Championship game in a pick play that Patriots coach Bill Belichick later described as dirty.
Talib fills the cornerback void for the Broncos left open when the team released Champ Bailey last week. It is also a reunion for Talib with former University of Kansas teammate Chris Harris, a restricted free agent who received a second-round tender from the Broncos last week. |

Elway is efficient not sure if it really is going to matter though

DeMarcus Ware agreed to a deal with the Broncos on Wednesday, one day after being cut by Dallas.
The deal, which is pending a physical, will pay Ware $13 million this season -- $250,000 more than the star pass rusher was scheduled to make from the Dallas Cowboys, who released him on Tuesday.
Ware's $7 million salary next season also will be guaranteed, according to the source. The deal is contingent upon the 31-year-old Ware passing his physical Wednesday.
Three weeks ago, Ware had two bone chips removed from his elbow. But the injury is said to be doing well, with no issues.
Once Ware was released by Dallas, at least a dozen teams expressed interest. |

I'm starting to wonder if Manning told Elway this was his last season if they win the SB.
I personally think he'll play 3 more years if he's healthy. |

Man it's been an intense couple of days so far...
What are the Raiders doing?
Do the Broncos actually have a salary cap? Can they seemingly sign every good free agent on the market?
Where is Revis going?!
Per the above, I actually think Jonathan Martin (who btw played under Harbaugh at Stanford) could recover his career in SF. I like it for the Niners, he could be a decent backup lineman for them. They also made a nice pickip with Antoine Bethea. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

They have $30 million to spend(Broncos)
Personally while I do respect the moves they made I also don't think it guarantees anything either. |

Don't forget, Tannehill's a former college WR so he's got some legs to him (a 4.58 40 helps too). All the mobility in the world will not help when the DE/LB gets a free and clear line to the QB or the pocket collapses and envelops him. Heck, Luck's praises for his mobility in college likely arose because he had to dodge all the defenders Martin let through. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

Raiders are Raiders. A fitting example of what the Lakers could become. Bad things happen when the spawn of owners are given the reins.
Some are saying Revis to Pats. I hope not.
Martin will likely not succumb to the usual football locker room shenanigans (either because Harbaugh will specifically forbid it or the other players will be walking on eggshells during his tenure). Judging by his play even before all this happened, he doesn't have much of a ceiling. Practice squad fodder likely. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

Donald Brown to the Chargers...
He was a good late season fantasy pick up last year. Had some big games.
Although I don't know what his role will be playing behind Mathews and Woodhead. _________________ ♪ ♫One good thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain...

The Broncos will be really, really good next year, but in 3 years I see them being the NFL version of this year's Lakers. They'll have some tough decisions coming up. |

It depends on how the contracts are structured they mean nothing in the NFL if it was the NBA I would see your point. |

Year 1: $13 guaranteed (including any signing bonus)
Year 2: $7 guaranteed
Year 3: $10 non-guaranteed. |

This speaks volumes for Revis, he sacrificed money for a chance at a ring. IMO Belichick and Brady make it worth the sacrifice. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
