If everyone on both of these teams stay healthy, no one in their respective conferences is going to knock them out. It's not going to be a pretty Finals either. I'd rather see a Pacers OKC match up to tell you the truth but I don't see anyone in the West beating the Spurs when they are serious. They always manage to stay under the radar until March/April comes around. As for OKC and Miami...

Why not OKC?

Because they never get it done. Some say this their year to finally get there, but the reality is that Westbrook and Durant are the modern Stockton and Malone(not necessarily playing style wise). Great for the regular season, good for a deep playoff run, but that's about it. A few bad games by either Westbrook or Durant will result in losses, and a team that relies on outside shots like OKC has to, will only take them so far.

Why not Miami Heat?

After seeing Bynum play recently I realize that the Pacers don't even need home court any more to win against Miami. Heat have no answers for playing against those two centers. I could see Pacers get in trouble at times if Hibbert gets in early foul trouble, but now it doesn't matter. If Hibbert gets in early foul trouble you got a potentially bigger problem on the offensive end with Bynum...especially when Bynum starts passing well out of those doubles. Then you got David West that Lebron might need to guard, which will get tiring over the course of a long series. I see Miami losing in 6 at this point regardless of who gets HCA. And right now Miami needs HCA a whole lot more. It's weird how Bynum changed the game. Can he stay healthy though? That's the question.

My prediction only holds true if all players on each team stay healthy.

I'd root for the Pacers. They should even bring Miller back on the bench so he can finally get a ring.

The Pacers played some tough games against the West recently, but now they're in a much easier part of the schedule, and they get to play Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit and Philadelphia again. Philadelphia has lost 18 games in a row.

Heat can't even beat the Nets. Paul Pierce out showing Lebron at this stage in his career is priceless. Look at what Kobe did to those big three in Boston...and people wonder why he's top 5 or GOAT? Come on.

I'd love to see Golden State or Memphis vs Indiana. Give the other teams a shot at the throne before the Lakers take back what is theirs

I think it's pretty wide open.

I could see either the Heat or Pacers make it out of the east.

Could see the Rockets, Spurs or OKC from the West.

Don't really think there are favorites at this point.

Heat vs. Spurs again, I am still not buying the Pacers hype. Does anyone really think they are beating Miami 4 times in 7 games?

The way the Heat are playing right now, yes. On the other hand, I'm not going to write off Miami until someone hammers a stake into their chest.

I'm starting to wonder if Miami wants the 2nd seed. 2nd seed means they will avoid having to play the Nets or the Bulls if the standings were to stay as they were. Just gotta hope that Bulls pass Toronto and get the 3rd seed. That would force Miami to play a tough Bulls series.

Current playoff bracket for the current standings are here in case anyone is interested:

I'm hoping Brooklyn drops to #6 so they'd play Miami in the 2nd round assuming both teams advance. Washington is only a half game behind.

Nets are unpredictable and they seem to be the Dark Horse in the East. If Paul Pierce keeps playing the way he did against Miami...you don't want to play them bottom line if you're Indiana or Miami.
