Team ran out of gas against superior talent. Playing Kaman would have help a little.

I'm not in to theories; any way you look at it losing sux!!

We had so much heartbreak this year, that this loss isn't really that big of a deal.

"Celtics weren't good from 93-08"

Is that supposed to make us feel better, Simmons?

Sooooo, when was the last time we held a team to under a 100 points? Heck, when is the last time we held a team to under 110?

Held Portland Trailblazers to 106 on 3/3
Held Celtics to 92 on 2/21

Seems like eons ago.

I'll say. Simmons couldn't let anyone talk about the Lakers without turning it into a low shot at the franchise. Jalen comments on how rare a losing season is for the Lakers and Simmons immediately takes it to

"traded place with the Clippers",

"I lived in LA 8 years and never imagined they Lakers would be irrelevant"

... and he full well knows that's

If Bill Simmons were to be struck by a semi, would anyone be sad?

Reminds me of 2K13. Go up by 15 with 13 seconds left and suddenly:

"And that'll do it Kev'!!!"

Joel Meyers always loved to do it too. No matter how much the Lakers were up, he'd wait for Kobe to make a shot in the final minute and say "and there's the dagger!"

Haters need to get their shots in now. I remember back when we lost Shaq there was all that talk of the Clippers taking over LA with Clippers fans walking around like fools when they had some success with Cassell. Lakers have their down periods, like every other team, difference is we tend to rise again to the pinnacle multiple times, which is very much unlike every other team.

I'm sure bill simmons takes great pride in knowing how much Lakers fans let him get on their nerves. Ignoring him is the best policy, no?
