I wanna see someone walk into a locker room of pro athletes and tell them they're not supposed to try to win. |
Me too. That would show real foresight and vision.
Anyway, this game is in the refrigerator. I'm turning it off. _________________ Chick Hearn was my favorite broadcaster ever - he's the one who taught me to think basketball, how to love basketball. - Bill Walton |

If you are at the game its asking a bit much to cheer against your team. |

I hope Vonleh or whatever ends up being decent and not just another castoff to our collection of castoffs. |

I like my laker brethern here who I know are die hards and would not cheer for the Lakers to win if they were at that game...and Jordan Hill is ruining the tank....which not sure if its a good thing because I do want him back but for a decent price |

ESPN radio script being typed out as we speak
Ramona and Ireland will harp on how the Lakers have too much prestige to tank, and Willard and Max will debate the unecessary win. Sprinkle a "woof" from Marcellus and get a useless, incorrect translation from the Beto Duran.
Itll be such a great show |

god not vonleh please. at least Randle or even Smart. Vonleh will be an interchangeable type player who is just good-decent on both sides of the ball. absolutely nothing special or great |

In my opinion if we fall out of the top 5 that's what we'll be getting - that's why I wanted this loss so badly.
There was no way to lose, though. Orlando is horrific. _________________ Chick Hearn was my favorite broadcaster ever - he's the one who taught me to think basketball, how to love basketball. - Bill Walton |

THe Clippers were the laughingstocks of the league and made a huge blunder in getting rid of a chance to draft Kyrie to save money and yet look at them now. Shelburne and her fat butt with that company man crony Ireland can get their "prestige" and shove it up where the sun dont shine....do they really think they are bigger fans than most people here???? |

remember the feeling when the lakers drafted von wafer?
the chat room erupted in "who the heck is vanilla wafer?!"
Thats the feeling I want to avoid during this year's draft. I dont want some 8-9th pick. I dont want this year's season to be in vain.
these insignificant wins only lower our chances mathematically, that we draw a better pick. |

Not to mention worse records put a floor upon how low we can draft. They want to fox the draft to remove tanking, this could be the first step |
