I'd much rather sign Lowry for 8-10 mil.

After this season he may get the 10-12 range now.

I think 9 is about right. One thing i'm against is overpaying players based on the market, unless you already have your team together and are doing it to sustain a run. Overpaying while building is what gets a lot of teams in trouble. Buy based on value. If you can't get it, don't buy. Neither Lance nor Mr. Injury should fetch 8 figures per year. If they can get it, great. Just don't be where they got it from.

You're probably right. I'm hoping he falls somewhere in the 10 mil range for us to grab. He's been somewhat of an unknown quantity until recently.

I keep hearing that the Dwight for Griffin/Bledsoe deal was never a real thing, but I'm still bitter that we didn't get Bledose back then.

And yet we had many LGers who said that Blake would never improve and that Blesdsoe wasn't a game changer....smh. It was probably all for not and moot because the rumor was most likely false.

I think Lance is a very good player. But, imo, 10-12 mil would be overpaying. Same goes for Bledsoe. Phoenix would probably match any offer anyhow. That's why I think Lowry would be the ideal pickup.

I like how Lowry has been able to work with DeRozan's high usage needs, yet still creates for himself and others. Kobe would love his attitude. He's the kind of guy I can see pairing up with a P&R big alongside a max guy and giving you what you need to contend.

True... BUT can the Lakers frontload the deal knowing how cheap Sarver is?

Not sure you can. But I'm not sure.

They could and offer 4.5% decreases each year afte the first instead of increases. But to me that wouldn't make much sense for Bledsoe.

I would take Collison and Stephenson for $13-14 mil

How about sending Nash to Milwaukee for Mayo...who has thoroughly worn out his welcome. You might even get LA's 2nd rounder back.

Mayo can defend and hit the long ball. Wouldn't dare show up fat in front of Kobe.

I don't like Mayo on my sandwiches or in a Laker uniform. He's walking the fine line of being a total bust. I'd bet 1,000,000 ruples that Memphis wishes they would have kept Kevin Love, now.
