listening to him on ESPN or ABC he's a good commentator and says a lot of positive things about teams and how they should execute and defend. he could be new blood the lakers can take a chance on

No way. And it has nothing to do with his piranha teeth or his anemic eye sockets that would make most Somalian pirates envious.

I think he knows basketball and has the IQ. But I don't know if he has the presence to get those spoiled players to listen.

He never struck me as the kind of guy who would make a successful head coach. I would say that color commentator is the right spot for him.

Don't think he'd want to deal with the egos.

He should stick to commentating. Makes decent money and there's no pressure. And he happens to be good at it.

His personality is too much of a joker. He'd be miserable having to coach.

Coaches should be leader of men, I don't think Reggie has that quality. Not that it makes any difference but I've always thought he and his sister, Cheryl, were gay.

Maybe sometime down the line Reggie could be head coach material. As long as he surrounds himself with a good coaching staff ala Larry Bird I think he could make a decent coach.

No way. He's just whiny and doesn't have the coaching chops to make it in the NBA. He doesn't have any presence and would lose his team real quick.

No. I've heard him say one thing on NBAtv (I forget the name of the program but its where they sit down with retired players and chat) and say the exact opposite while broadcasting. In other words, I feel he succumbs to public opinion even know he may feel differently about the subject. Therefore I can't take anything he says serious.
