. [AT] rexchapman tweets that John Calipari to the Los Angeles Lakers is a "done deal" regardless of what happens in tonight's game. Interesting.

Hope it's true. But it is bittersweet. Wish the coaching change happened last year when we had a chance to keep D12

Seems only Rex Chapman is saying it so not sure how real it is. Maybe he didn't want it to get out yet?

Hopefully, this isn't a prank... the fact that MDA won't coach the Lakers next year is a breathe of fresh air.

Would rather have Ollie. How about winner of tonight's game becomes our next coach?

Wasn't John Calipari the one that wanted to draft Kobe even though he threatened to play in Italy and was overruled by management?

72-112. Went 3-17 before being fired. 43 max win season. Known as a so-so x's & o's guy.

This better be true or Kennedy's reputation will be down to level of "sauces" for eternity.

Any idea who the coaching staff will be? I'm guessing none of the current coaching staff will be picked up next year.

Basketball is basketball, but the league is a little different than when he left it. Even if he recruits talented athletes, he consistently gets those kids to play defense and share the ball. I could think of worse hires, but it gives the team a new face that young players and vets might respect.

I have never learned to tweet or read hieroglyphics, but it seems to me Kennedy is simply commenting on what Rex said. And his comment was, "interesting." I'm not sure, so lets get some some Tweeterologist in here.

I am ok with this. Will either be really successful or really BAD but I like the idea of Coach Cal mentoring our draft pick.
