Why should they have lost? To make a bunch of people who have nothing but contempt for them happy?
If, as most here seem to think, none of them are coming back next year, why shouldn't they be more concerned with improving their chances of getting a better contract with another team than improving the Lakers nebulous chances of drafting higher?
If you believe that the best players all get drafted in order of their abilities, then I guess you agree with Ray Allen thinking he's a better player than Kobe because he was drafted ahead of Kobe.
Disgusted by stupidity? I sure am.
But it has nothing to do with the players who went out and won the game.
