I can predict what everyone will say to the media.
Scrub players will say "It was an honor to play for purple and gold. We gave it our best. "
Kaman and Hill will dance around their feelings toward our coach.
Mitch Kupchek will talk but say nothing (because he is the most secretive GM in the league).
MDA will backhandedly insult our roster while simultaneously saying when they bought in to his system the team was successful.
Pau will say he wants to play for a winner and will repeat what we all know. He and MDA believe in different styles of ball. |

I can't wait for the meltdown that's going to occur on this site when MDA is retained for next year. Of coarse I hope I'm wrong, but I'm sort of getting a feel for how things are done now in LakerLand and my money's on him staying. If they cared about what the fans wanted he wouldn't be here to begin with! |
Same here! MDA is gonna be coming back and Lakerland is gonna lose their minds (me included). |

I won't be paying for LP next season if MDA is back. |

Mitch says something along the lines of, "We understand you haven't had a fair shot to coach this team because of all the injuries. We will be evaluating our roster this summer and taking into consideration multiple factors as we decide what's best for this franchise."

How about Mitch saying "we are going to evaluate you on the material you had to work with sans injures, and your won/loss record with said material. What have you done for us lately, we did pay you to get the job done. Mike... The Lakers have standards, which we expected to be upheld. Your coaching has fallen below the mark. You've had 2 years with one of the best players in the game to lean on and you ran him in the ground, why should we give you another year? You wrecked the car.... Now you want to tear up the house? No... We wish you well in your future endeavors, The Lakers will be moving on. Thank you for coming".
Mike: So what are you trying to say?
Mitch: You're gonna make me say it? Really??? .... Really??? Mike you're fired. SECURITY!!!!! _________________ "If you see me in a fight with a bear, prey for the bear". Ive always loved that quote. Thats "mamba mentality" we don't quit, we don't cower, we don't run. We endure and conquer. |

Anyone know what time the exit interviews are tomorrow and where they'll be aired? Will they be on TWC or only on line at Lakers.com? |

Kaman is funny. He was asked if he liked his teammates and mentioned that Rob and Ryan were good guys with bright futures. Then said, I didn't like anyone else. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Basically that he still wants to prove to Mitch and the fans that he can live up to his contract. And that if the Lakers want him to mentor their draft pick he would be more than happy to do so. A very brief summation, what shines through is that he really wants to help the Lakers. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

The man is the definition of a professional. He takes his job seriously. It is very hard to dislike him as an individual and I am rooting for him. _________________ "I don’t give a [expletive] what you say. Pau just said, "Thanks everyone for all the years" then paused (1,2,3)....and then added "and for all the years to come" once he realized the finality of his statement regarding his future with the Lakers.
The man has one giant foot out the door. _________________ "I don’t give a [expletive] what you say.
