Pissterns

San Antonio has two players I absolutely despise in Flopu and Hacken.

Pistons

The Spur fans are just insanely insecure and unrealistic, and Detroit is in another conference on the other side of the country so they're not as involved. And the Spur fans here are just a portion of them I've met up with. In real life, their fans are just as insanely insecure. Their insecurity and jealousy of the Lakers is just too much to take. I can't stand that team!

I'm rooting for Phil to return to the Lakers.
(That's the only part of the finals so far that I found interesting.)

the lack of class of how the pistons treated the lakers in the 80s burns hard in my memory (the year byron & magic both were injured; kareem's last year).

the fans lacked class

the team lacked class

I endured sitting in the building experiencing the lack of class.

some memories never die.

go spurs!

Spurs because of Pop.

I don't know if this is fair to say or not because of how I feel the Pistons are outclassed in this series, but I wanna see if DET can beat a healthy title contender.

Since the Piss-ons denied Shaq, I would like to see them take it. Even though they are the defending champs, they still seem to be the underdog. Either way, I couldn't care less now that Shaq is not in the finals. That was all that mattered.

go spurs

i hate detroit with a passion
as Damon Jones said, the Wallaces are the 2 ugliest people in the NBA. so lets be honest, who wants those 2 sorry excuses for a face to win. lol

and San Antonio is just a better team and they're fun to watch

if the Pistons win, the league will suffer as a whole
ratings will go even further down, and before we know it, the NBA will b like the NHL

Pistons cause of Joe Dumars (the GM not the player). He has built a quality team thru smart draft picks, free agent signings and trades. He has a deep bench and 2 good young players (Darko and Delfino) to develop.

He went and got guys like Campbell (who gave Shaq fits) and McDyess (bench scoring) after everyone else passed on them. He got Sheed for peanuts and a bubble gum wrapper. Got Ben for a broken Grant Hill. Traded locker room cancer Stackhouse for Rip Hamilton. Drafted Prince after 20 other knuckleheads (was drafted 23rd but I can't say Houston or Phoenix were knuckleheads for drafting Yao and Amare ahead of Prince) passed on him. And most importantly, he has brought guys together who want to play together. When was the last time you heard a report of someone on the team criticizing Sheed?

Damm.... this is a hard one. Originally I was rooting for the Spurs.... barely. Now I am undecided. This is like picking the lesser of two evils. I'm hoping the lockout happens NOW so that neither team can win a ring.

Any time Jessica Alba is on a poll im voting for her. Between Pistons Spurs? Tough one since Spurs have Horry on the other hand I hate Manu. Now Pistons im really happy that they took Shaq out and Sheed is one of my favorite players so..... Go Pistons I usually want the underdogs to win anyway.

Love Horry but I'm hoping the Pistons win it.

I saw the game in 03' where they beat the crap out of us, and it gave me fresh "fan-hate" for the Spurs. Plus, Detroit silenced Most Gumflappin' Ever, and that's a hard thing to do!

Go Pistons!

"DE-TROIIIIIIIIIIIT BASKET-BALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"

(just for the Championship. Next year when they play the Lakers I will have to of course choose our team)
