Lakers were never a threat to any of those teams, most of them wouldn't have bothered to make a real effort when playing LA.
We used to lose to crap team under PJ too, the players wouldn't be motivated to even show up. |

For a few months we had the best bench in the league, before injuries set in. This team was not dissimilar to PHX in that we had a lot of young guys with talent and chips on their shoulders, except they have superior coaching and athleticism. Healthy and properly utilized we were a playoff caliber [6-8 seed] team, but what's done is done. |

nope. watch the games. every game we played that we won, you saw max effort, just like you saw max effort when we didnt win vs these same teams.
its not the same as when the lakers had pjax. pjax is a completely different laid back dont show your hand type of coach. while these other coaches are all the same pretty much unless they are resting players when we played them. best believe guys were trying to go off on "THE LAKERS". no matter how bad we are at the moment. getting 40 on "THE LAKERS" means as much as beating the heat. the entire world is watching you play the lakers. even during the lean years.
