Just check Bynum out and see if them knees be working, sign him to a none guaranteed contract, low risk if it doesn't pan out!!!!!! I mean imagine how Jordan, Dwight, Ibaka, Duncan, Gasol to name a few will abuse Hill!!! _________________ New Beginings
Playing Jordan Hill at starting center will basically land him on the injured list for a good part of the season. I guess the Lakers haven't seen enough of him to understand he's a good energy guy off the bench for spot minutes and NOT a 30 min per game starter. Mitch and Jim drunk at the wheel when they gave him that deal!

This! Jordan Hill is only good in spurts even if he doesn't get injured which is a big IF, he runs out of gas fast. He is not a 30+ mins per game player, especially not at center. _________________ My Dream Starting 5 next Season

You mean essentially that one year deal?
What's the worst that can happen? He gets hurt again doesn't live up to it and we have a 9 million expiring contract to trade.
Stop acting like this is some long term investment in a player. It's a risky signing in the sense that Hill may not live up to it, but it has a lot of financial flexibility and Hill has proven he can be a serviceable bigman with upside.
I wonder if Jordan Hill has been continuing to work on his outside shot?
I know we all heard how he was taking a zillion shots a day last offseason. Then he started off shooting horribly from outside at the start of the season.
But at the end of the season he seemed to be showing more of a scoring punch, including hitting some outside shot.
It takes time to develop an outside shooting touch. If JHill keeps working hard, maybe he'll show some improvement this season and that might make a big difference.
