I thought it used to work differently, but anyone else notice this?

If I read an unread thread (which has the yellow, not purple trophy icon) and go back to the menu, it used to change the icon to purple to indicate it has been read.

But now, that doesn't happen anymore. So what's the point of the yellow/purple icons now?

Well, ok, now it's showing everything as having been read.

Does this sort of "reset" the forum essentially? I don't want everything to be marked read.

I want the items I have clicked on to be marked read, and the items the I haven't clicked on to be marked unread. That's it.
